The People's Chimp Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) Spiral. French crime/politics/gang show, (somewhat lazily) dubbed the French Wire. Pretty gritty at times, shows the political manoeuvring within the french judicial system, focuses a fair bit on a few lawyers and a group of detectives. Earlier seasons tend to have a specific crime per episode plus the overarching story of the series, whereas series 4 (where I am currently) is mainly focused on the one case with the tribulations of the main characters throughout. 5th series has been filmed I think, with a 6th one ordered. Pretty sure it's all on netflix. Don't make the mistake of calling it "spee-ral" in a French accent, which most folk do, as the French name is engrenages. Also features the lovely Audrey Fleurot. :pinilla: Edited April 24, 2014 by The People's Chimp Quote
