Weekly episodes for the season of the season is a bit nippy though. Have watched the first 4. Pretty good but it doesn't half jump all over the place. I watched the first 4 (I think). The impact scene at the job fair was really well done but then I felt it really slowed down.
The Internet Posted March 11 Posted March 11 The Pitt is probably the best show on telly the now. Hasn't been (legally) watchable over here yet but will be when HBO is available here at the end of the month. Never really bothered with yank medical dramas but this one hits the spot. Every episode has so much to it.

Dick Dastardly Posted March 11 Posted March 11 R.J. Decker seems quite good after the first two episodes. Scott Speedman plays the main character in the series, based on a book by Carl Hiaasen R.J. Decker is a disgraced newspaper photographer and ex-con who starts over as a private investigator in the colorful-if-crime-filled world of South Florida.

Might give that a go, as quite enjoyed Bad Monkey with Vince Vaughan last year which was also based on a Hiaasen book.

After this I watched the first two episodes and it is good. Scarpetta -amazon prime video. Very slow and could not keep my focus. I switched off around half way through the first episode

I think i made it through two episodes but wasn't really paying much attention.

I switched off around half way through the first episode There’s a big backlash against Scarpetta from the fans of the books. Jamie Lee Curtis’ character is supposed to be a feisty younger sister and Scarpetta herself is a short Italian looking woman. The biggest gripe though is that Curtis has had the premise rewritten to shoehorn herself into it.
John Findlay Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Gone. STV at present. All episodes available on STV Iplayer. Well worth a watch imho.
Dick Dastardly Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Mr Inbetween Aussie comedy crime drama about a hitman and his day to day life. Pretty funny but pretty dark as well.
Cade Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Live-action Manga adaptation One Piece returns to Netflix for its 2nd season, with filming for Season 3 already underway. A crew of misfits band together to adventure around the world as pirates in a crazy fantasy setting. The absolute gold standard for live action Manga adaptations. Casting is spot on, costumes and camera shots are lifted directly from the original Manga and the set pieces are very well choreographed. If you like a bit of silly fun, this is for you.

thee jambo Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Films not so good. Loved the tv show and then watched the film, film was made years before on a low budget so it was a bit disappointing.

Started out with a budget of $3000 (Australian) and filmed in 10 days. It was then picked up by someone else and they re-released it with a budget of $330,000. I'll give it a watch anyway. The guy that plays Ray has a scary smile. He reminds me a bit of Steve Buscemi

PortyJambo Posted March 16 Posted March 16 The 3rd season of The Capture on BBC is pretty good so far. I'm two episodes in, but unfortunately it's only an episode a week and not all available at once on the iPlayer.

luckyBatistuta Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I’ve recommended this before, but just in case someone has missed it Animal Kingdom, every season is on Netflix A quite brilliant series, was devastated when the last episode ended, wanted it to just keep going on and on, couldn’t get enough of it. Was exactly the same when Vikings ended😭

It's a sort of Who dunnit? after Bateman is found to have been having an affair with Harbour's wife and then someone is found deed. Episode 3 gave me a proper did that just happen?! Laugh out loud moment Really enjoying it so far.
