rudeskaboyuk
Just asking the question again as the great debate of whether they are the same or new club is still to be resolved. If they win this years Scottish cup are they able to take the European place or does that go to Runner up or some other team by league position ? Think it's a minimum of 3 years audited accounts, think sevco have one year as of now. No entry to Europe for a few years yet

Fxxx the SPFL
what happens if Aberdeen win the final and rangers are runners up. Aberdeen are second in the league so would be in Europa anyway.

Munch
even if they win the BIG CUP (hobos out yet again ) they have a big chance this year it is wide open ( hobos out ) no Europe so runners up go in sevco dont.
Footballfirst
what happens if Aberdeen win the final and rangers are runners up. Aberdeen are second in the league so would be in Europa anyway. The Cup Winners are given the top seeding for each country in the Europa League, ahead of the 2nd place side in the league, so it would be 3rd, and 4th in the league that would get the other Europa League places. LeylandJambo
Live by the sword die by the sword. Make no mistake if the SFA/ SPFL could get them in they would do. Then they'd have to spend money they've not got on players.

LeylandJambo
If they win the cup, they'll deserve a European place. Put them up against a half decent team & they'll get humped.
Tommy Brown
Would prefer if they draw either DU or StJ away, not good enough to win the tie and not get much gate money. Aberdeen away would be interesting tie but give them a full house, think the Dons would smash them. Raith/Dumbarton away would be too winable, Albion Rovers would have to be switched to another venue. ICT away, think they could win that also. But no-doubt it will be a home tie against one of the diddies.

The Gasman
If they win the cup, they'll deserve a European place. But as they have no UEFA licence to play in European competition, and as they need a minimum of three consecutive years of audited accounts (they only have one years) to even apply for one, it's all a bit academic.
