Been any cars unveiled yet? Im interested to see how they will look. First test is in 2 weeks time I think so they better start appearing soon.

Driver numbers are coming out now as well.

Mainly through hints on Twitter, Jensen Button tweeted "two little ducks" today so we can guess what number he'll have.

Number 7

:smuggy:

Just read Raikkonen reason for choosing 7.

It's because he had it last season and didn't see a reason to change it.

Sadly one less character in the pit lane this year, Jensen Button's dad John has just died.

Sad to hear that.

It's a shame Di Resta probably won't be in F1 next season :(

Imagine if Caterham announced Di Resta and Kobayashi though, sounds good!

There is a small chance. i do think F1 is over for di Resta though.

Its a shame as he's no slouch. Lack of backing doesn't help.

No way...

Superb stuff, rumours that brawn will be team principal... Button will be getting his cards soon as well I expect.

Makes sense with Honda coming back. Interesting times ahead. I am looking forward to see how Williams are this season, 2 good drivers and some new additions to the team.

Paul di Resta back in the DTM with Mercedes.

Should he maybe have gone down the testing route with one of the big guns in F1?

Not the best view but here is the Force India VJM07.

I like the livery on this.

That is gorgeous livery.

It's a shame more teams don't go for black as the main colour.

Car looks good, though you only see it from the side so you can't see what's guaranteed to be a stub nose.

Loved the old black Honda test car a few years back.

I read a quote a few days ago from a head engineer at one of the teams where he told a journalist they would be spending a lot of the season talking about how the ugly the cars are this year.

Is this what I think this is or is it something else?

That looks like the rear wheels are covered so that would make it a Indy Racing car. Hard to tell from that photo on my phone though.

Looks more like a 2008 car with the double level front wing. The "wheel covers" at the back could be the flare ups and vents around the back end of the sidepods blocking the wheels. I could be wrong.

Just noticed that it looks like it has Bridgestone tyres so not the 2014 F1 car. My bad.

Nose doesn't look as bad as I expected given ScarbsF1's image

:spoton:

It is the 2008 car. You can just about see the wings on either side of the Air box, plus flares in front of the rear tyres and the 'bridge' on the front wing. That and the livery.

Has it been confirmed he is the new Mclaren TP?

Lotus certainly kept that launch quiet.

It really does look like a condom as someone said above. The very front bit looks like the end of a condom

Mclaren looks awful but I don't think they will be alone in this solution. Lotus reminds me of the old williams bmw from a few years back with the walrus nose...

I had a dream last night that Red Bull launch this years car as a six wheeler. Claiming that their pit crew are so fast it won't slow down stops.
