Great album GA. Was a massive Who freak in my younger days. Noticed there's a special edition L A L with the entire set list. Probably worth a listen to.

 

You been watching the Floyd night on BBC 4? Sky + it at the moment. Should be good.

Yeah. +ing the lot of it. Playing catch up with the tv tonight. Just finished watching Letters From Iwo Jima and am now starting to watch the Floyd Story. Some pretty cool footage, as you say. looking forward to the Barrett one later.

 

It's ideal. Wife's fallen asleep early tonight. Please myself TV wise all night. Happy daze!!

The Barrett one is a cracking documentry, mate.

 

It was first aired in 2001 If I remember right.

Looking forward to watching it GA. Probably be tomorrow night though. A heavy day at the office combined with the few too many glasses of wine are starting to take their toll.

 

Didn't know that the Barrett doc was put together as early as 2001.

 

Only in the last 4 years did I really start to listen to Floyd properly. Before that I only really gave any listening time to Piper and Secrets (which are still my 2 favourite Floyd albums). You live and learn I suppose.
