Again the bad and selfish driving of some Edinburgh drivers was on show today, whats up with these folk that they

cant give you an inch but just in such a hurry to get to where they are going, beyond me.

Always incredibly pleasing to have someone tear it past you on a road, and then you end up right behind them at the next set of traffic lights.  I always sit there giving it my best :smuggy: to really try and make their day

Or stuck in a slow moving queue behind a tractor, which happens often on the road i travel. Watching them moving in and out trying to find a gap in the oncoming traffic to overtake again is :greggy:

What is you got a paper cut on your banjo string when your little man is standing proud?

Since internet stuff took over, injuries from porn mags and Kay's catalogues have probably been resigned to the history books.

Arseholes in Audi's that drive right up your arse.

Driving to work this morning, doing a steady 60-65, not in a rush as I was early.  This prick was at it for about 10 miles.  He had the chance to overtake twice if he wanted to.  Happens regularly on the road I drive to work and it's always the same suspects, Audi's.  If you're in that much of a rush, either overtake or get up earlier for work.

I have only been driving a year and I have already formed the opinion that if you own an Audi, your probably a w@nk3r.

Back in the day about 1989 was on holiday at lochgoilhead, driving my 2 litre capri there were roadworks on

the way back with a speed limit of 40, this clown sat on my tail for about 3 miles of the roadworks.😒.

4 months and 5 days since they've been here. May there be many more months of peace to come.

I posted a seethe about my broadband being down but it's a blessing in disguise as my Mrs doesn't have enough data with her phone contract to keep accepting video calls from the barrel.

This really angered me yesterday. Apparently they appeared on a live link from the prison and were celebrating with the manslaughter verdict. Absolute scum. They should tie them to a car and drag them a mile down a country road.

Still at least they got them, usually they travellers are above the law.

No doubt they will breeze through whatever ridiculously short sentence they are given and in a couple of years be out stalking the streets again in the darkness, casing your garden for whatever they can get their theiving hands on  Probably with some rat offspring in tow, teaching them the tricks of the trade.

That drives me crazy, is it really so hard to give a little wave or nod. I was parked at the side of the road last night whilst at work. I had been there for a while with no lights on at all, just sitting parked. A guy pulls up behind and I glanced in my mirror at him. A wee while passes and I realise his lights are still on and I have another little look in my mirror. It was at that point seeing him in my mirror waving his arms and getting all flustered, that I knew what was happening. He eventually swerved out and on passing me, he was giving me the two fingers and shouting and swearing. What a clown, some folk shouldn’t have a licence.🤣

Depends which side of the road it is whether I'll do it or not. If it's a narrow road where someone has to drive down the middle or I'm on their side of the road I'll always wave to say thank you.

If it's my side of the road and they stop behind parked cars on their side I usually don't. I don't view not driving down the wrong side of the road and crashing into me an action that necessitates acknowledgement/ thanks 😂

Basically you’re driving down a normal road with flats/houses on your side, cars are parked outside as they have no where else to park. You approach these cars to let oncoming traffic pass. Am I entitled to a wee nod or quick wave to say thanks? Not sure although I definitely do so in the reverse situation

Yeah when I was taking kids to school (a few!) years back, they kept asking "who was that?" . Had to explain umpteen times about basic driving courtesy.

Got out of Edinburgh for the weekend and went up the west coast and around Skye, for the first time since passing my test last year I actually really enjoyed driving and absolutely effing love driving my car on roads like the A82 to fort William

only downside was the handful of folk driving at 20 below the limit with a queue of cars behind them and nowhere to overtake for miles at a time

Probably a thread kicking about for bus drivers somewhere but they really are the most miserable, jobsworth pricks on the planet. Going home last night about half 11 and a 44 stops at the bus stop in Shandwick Place and I'm heading to Gorgie. Asked the guy if he could let me off in Gorgie Road but 'no, sorry, I'm not meant to stop in Gorgie Road' and off he went. Think there was one person on the bus downstairs. Seriously, what harm would that have done to stop at a bus stop he was passing anyway??!! Prick.

I remember coming back from Blackpool years ago with my mates.  The garage the bus was from was just down the hill from my parents house. When we stopped at Gretna I asked if when we got back, he could drop me at the bus stop at the top of the hill before he went to the garage. He said no chance, he didn't stop at that bus stop.  So i had to get off two miles from the house at about midnight and get a taxi the rest of the way.  Arsehole.

I'd assume it's so you can put it together without the need for a hammer.

Maybe. You need one anyway to bang tight fitting panels together.

I'm building that thing in a room that's 10x12. I've got a double bed and mattress that's been taken to bits and taking up space, there's a high sleeper bed in there that I built yesterday and there's a cot bed in the room that's currently in bits. There are also huge drawers from the bed and two small chests.

That wardrobe is over 2m tall and whilst it's tight there should've been plenty of space to build it. I needed almost 4m of floor space when I came to that. Not very easy when you can't even open the door to take things out. I can see what they've tried to do but it's not been very well thought out.

Because if he does and something happens whilst doing so, or if he’s caught, it could cost his job.
