Alex Salmond has massively underestimated the general feeling of the population - these No councils are huge No's - it's not even close.

To be fair to salmond he had to take this punt at this stage in his career.

 

And the good thing is for him is that he lost some weight so his health will be better

150k difference now. Even if Glasgow has massive yes vote it would struggle to kill that

44-56 at the moment, and running about 3% below what the SNP and the Greens between them managed in those areas in 2011, so if the pattern continues it'll be 45-55.

 

About one-third of the electorate declared now.
