That letter is a bit pathetic is it not?

Maybe Dave should reply asking Alex not to have private chats with business and Murdoch to come out with pro-independence statements as it's making thr markets twitchy?

More from Robert Peston re the warnings on price hikes

Robert Peston ?@Peston

Downing St now says PM's pressure on supermarket bosses to go public on how prices would rise in indie Scotland happened in one-to-one chats

Bringing rape into it. Jesus Christ :cornette:

I don't know the ins and outs of his accusations (as it were) but that was ******* ridiculous from Patrick Harvey

Have to say that Galloway is making the more important points while Sturgeon is doing a lot of scoffing and smirking and not answering a hell of a lot.

George Galloway is a slavering idiot. He shouldn't even be on the TV.

Would add Patrick Harvie to that category as well

Scottish socialism is a race to the bottom.

Scotland must also be one of the very few countries where people will deny being middle class when they are.

Most other countries people dream UP the way.

In Scotland we pretend downwards

MIddle class has a cringe factor to it here

No?

Posh is a term of abuse- as is middle class/affluent whatever

Class doesnt matter to me huge gaps between haves and have boys does though. UK tops the league for the gap between rich and poor this matters to me and many others in Scotland.

Sturgeon reverting to type

Aye,

The think about the Banks and HQs v. Registered Offices was easy and she blew it.

Speak softly and say

'Maybe the word scaremongering has been over used in this campaign, so can I please ask Ruth and George to stop misleading and lying about what has been said today'

Just about nailed it there.

No is about having more autonomy of our own affairs whilst continuing to enjoy the safety and security of the larger state.

What powers are being given to us to give us more autonomy?

Just about. The only thing missing was any form of detail.

Scottish politicians really are arseholes!

I think it's safe to use the words arseholes and politicians in the same sentence, regardless of the nationality!

Sounds like a no crowd in tonight tbf.

I thought the reports were that there weren't enough no voters there?

Can this be broken down to core yes think yes are doing amazing, core no think no are doing amazing, and everyone else thinks it's a total rabble?

I'm yes myself.

I think no has come across a bit better tonight in terms of answers and the crowd seemed a bit more cheery towards the no side.

Imo anyway.

Do any No supporters think there is anything good about independence?

More likely to reinvigorate the centre right up here which would suit me.

Sturgeon out of the shadow of Salmond and after the transitional period leading Labour or a new left of centre party. She's a good politician but has constantly had to compromise her beliefs in pursuit of independence.

Galloway's closing statement was ridiculous, and the irony from him was quite something else. Did someone from the No campaign think it was a good idea to have him there?

The Tories losing the Thatcher/poll tax baggage & gaining support from those who don't think they can vote Tory because of the 70/80s.

Oh, and bringing the constitutional debate to an end once and for all will be glorious.

If No win, Yes'll keep going. Ghastly prospect
