After the flumps beat us 7 nil on NYD 1973 (they keep it quiet tho) the next derby we won 4-1.

The goals for this are on ther best porn ever made Hearts 90 goals against Hibs however Busby's celebration for the fourth isn't

Is it true that he went up to the Hobos end put his finger on his nose and done a massive snotter infront of them?

If this is true that is quite possibly the worlds finest goal celebration.

Any of you old timers shed some light?

cheers in advance dudes and dudettes

No not true.

He cooley:cool::cool::cool: turns away and awaits his team mates adulated pat on the back celebrations.

if i had scored a goal like that against those deluded ones i would have insisted on my goal of the season award there and then :cool::cool:

I believe this is the image.

It was great to hear him getting interviewed on Hearts World before the match on saturday. When Lawrence asked him if he was looking forward to the match, he said he'd been looking forward to it all week after the invitation came through. Also when asked why he thinks he is still a hero among Hearts fans, he very humbly said " they only remember the good games...I remember the bad ones". He also mentioned the game in this image, his first against Hibs. And the infamous match at easter road when he was sent off, " and rightly so, I deserved it" (LOL). Aslo said Tynecastle had an unbelievable atmosphere. Personally I think he was oor lucky mascot on saturday! HAHAHAHAHA!!

Cheers

Me too. For those of us who had been at the January game, the August game couldn't come quick enough. 4-1 was good enough, though of course there were hibbys who were quick to point out that they were still ahead on aggregate. They're no' saying that now!

Incidentally, anyone still think that Kenny Garland was at fault for 4 of the goals?

That's the first goal (Schaedler OG). Busby scored at the school end in the second half.

One of the best games I have ever been at.

That's what I thought when I saw the pic. Can still see Schaedler powering the ball into his own net.

Can't remember Buzzby's goal at all now.:ninja:

Busby's goal as I remember it came near the end and was a low fast shot from around 20 yards. I think it was our 4th goal.

I remember him saying in an interview that after seeing the goal again, he thought he mis-hit it! I wasn't at the game, and have never even seen the highlights of it!I take it they're not up on the net anywhere?

Cheers

Lynn
