Sold it to a mate and he wrote it off a couple of weeks later Bought a 205 1.9 GTi SE after that for ?1.5k Was the tits but only lasted a year. Made over ?500 breaking it though. My 1st car.. ?50 My auld man had a Dolomite Did yours have that wee turbo switch on the gear stick? Did that switch even function or was it just for show? (I realise that it wasn't an actual turbo) It was an overdrive switch. Like a shortcut to a 5 speed box but in a 4 speed box. Meant for motorway driving, hoor it up to 70 in 4th then flick the overdrive and the revs dropped down to something more civilised. I had a Volvo 240 that had one. I liked it as a gadget.
