Jambo_Gaz
Says the flair team who started with THREE Scottish players... But they'll tell you being English and Irish doesn't count as being foreign...

i8hibsh
They are a total joke I am loving it as it appears that even the media have stopped perpetuating the ridicuolous young conveyor belt of Scottish talent myth The whole flair myster myth appears to be dead and buried now too It took four years but i do belive guys that is what you call a result
Jambo_Gaz
Not that we field too many Scots either. Not bothered either way, if we do well it doesn't matter where the players come from. Look at Arsenal in the last few years, this season especially as an example. But I get hacked off when we're considered to be full of substandard foreigners etc, when all you have to do is look over to the docks and see worse examples yet no media hacks having a go at the flair/hoof team. Dave 1974
Frail responded perfectly to these type of underhanded racist comments. When asked by Stuart Lovell for his opinion on why Hearts' best players were the foreigners, Frail replied that Hearts just have players. Their nationality is irrlevent in footballing matters. End of conversation.
i8hibsh
Also here is a good point In any workplace if someone comes out and says "man there is a serious lack of Scots in here" You would be on a gross misconduct charge and branded a racist Why is it in football even the pundits get away with saying it? The fact is Scotish players are mostly pretty crap and the good ones we have all wanna play for the old firm I couldn't give a fiddlers foooooooooook about not having many Scots I see Hearts as how we should see the world a mixing bowl an all that
Cigaro
Funny thing was, they sang it once we took off Chesney and brought on Miko. Unless they think Chesney is a Scot then we were no less Scottish than before.

Sherlock
I found that ditty both amusing and ironic given the club's name is latin for Oirland. Yup. I commented on the irony to those around me about this. How can a club, with a name in a foreign defunct language which even means another country altogether, make reference to us not being Scottish is beyond me. Groatallar
When did these immigrant ***** become Scottish anyway? When we helped them to re-form by giving them loads of our players! The original team went out of business due to Celtic taking all their players. The original team was the only Hibernian team that insisted on their team being of Irish origin.
