I would hope most people wrote that rambling lunatic off years ago. Have you seen the guy's internet page? Boy probably has tea parties with his stuffed teddy bears.

The thread has unfortunately dipped though, as tends to happen when they get cash in from somewhere and start doing better on the pitch. Who knows, maybe they have done enough now to start wiping their faces again financially. If they somehow manage to trade players for enough money, and keep qualifying for the Europa League groups, then it could be a long time again before their exorbitant over-spending catches up with them again.

Best fairytale outcome is Sevco liquidate themselves again due to overspending trying to catch Celtic, then Celtic get found guilty of match-fixing, and suffer a similar fate.

Sounds like a twisted Rangers hating cross between Ed Gein and Norman Bates (yes i know Bates was inspired by Gein but still)

suspect the demise is going to be a long term thing. newco clearly still have enough crazy folk willing to not just loan money but write if off to try stop the 10 in a row.

interesting to see what happens when they can't stop this. will such folk keep going to stop 11, 12, 13 etc in a row. then what? do they have younger generations stupid enough to keep throwing money away for no return.

Yep, they've obviously shaken some rich monkeys out of the bigot tree recently. I also think ten in a row will be pivotal to the future.

I wouldnt be surprised if it came out eventually Rangers were being funded/receiving donations from similar places to Sheffield United. :scenes:

The Rangers claiming to be Rangers is very much like Top Gear without Clarkson, May and Hammond. Same studio, same, theme tune, same titles and the same script pretending nothing has changed. New viewers may not see the difference, the ignorant won’t notice a difference but the people that know, know.

Eh, same titles? They’ve not won any major domestic honours.

other than that, fair play.

The sad thing is that they are not falling over. I don't know where their money is coming from but the new club's demise is not happening as predicted by Phake Phil and the like.

I think getting to the Europa League Group stages brought a much welcomed stay of execution.

They’ll be hoping they do the same this year, so it would be great if they got papped out as soon as possible

cash seems still to be short (mainly free signings) and are desperately hawking Morelos about to try and sell.

If only they had taken the 100%, totally genuine, not made up in any way bids from China.

Hopefully they will have a tougher task than maribor and ufa this year to get to the group's and get papped out.

Malmo are probably the weakest side in that list. I hope they get Espanyol, Braga or Feyernoord. If they get Wolves we can expect trouble from the hordes down south.

Rangers lose latest round of merchandise fight with Mike Ashley

Bosses at Rangers have lost the latest round of a long-running High Court fight over merchandise with Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley.

A company in the Sports Direct Group, SDI Retail Services, has said bosses at the Glasgow football club have been in breach of obligations under a deal relating to replica kit.

Bosses at Rangers disputed claims made against them.

Judge Lionel Persey finished overseeing the latest in a series of hearings at the High Court in London earlier this year.

He said on Friday, at a High Court hearing in London, that he had ruled in favour of SDI after analysing a number of issues in the latest stage of the dispute.

The judge has not yet published a full ruling outlining the detail of that dispute or the reasoning behind his decision.

In June he ruled on the meaning of one agreement after lawyers representing the rival camps were unable to agree the terms of that agreement.

A ruling outlining the reasoning behind that decision has recently been published online.

Rangers lost a round of the fight in October.

Another judge ruled Rangers had breached the terms of an agreement made with SDI.

Mr Justice Teare concluded bosses at Rangers had made a new agreement with another firm without giving SDI a chance to match that firm's offer.

SDI subsequently made further complaints.

Rangers will have to be careful with accounts as SDI will happily pay for a forensic accountant to check any income from merchandise in order to get an award given to them. Or you would imagine that would be a fair assumption to make. Then when they have an award that will have to be paid. Thats how it will end at some point
