jeramiah Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I have always admired the way Andrius 'Sharp as a Razor' Valicka plays the game. He scores goals. He has touch, strength and vision, and knows exaclty where the goal is. A few months back I was slaughtered for suggesting this guy was a potential goal-machine. I made the comments besed on the fact that in his first season he had scored at IBROX, CELTIC PARK and EASTER ROAD (how many players have done that in one season?) but I genuinely think Velicka is a player which the Hearts support will grow to love, And the Hibees, Celtic and Rangers fans will grow to fear. Go on the Razor Velicka!
roger_the_pessimist Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 He blows hot and cold performance-wise and looks weird when he runs but he knows how to score and that makes him invaluable.
JennytheJambo Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I am a Velicka fan, heres hoping that we can keep him.
givememychoice Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 who put the ball in the hibees net? Razor!

RENE Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Considering the amount of goals he is scoring I think it's about time we signed him. He certainly knows where the net is and could turn out to be a 20-plus a season man.
givememychoice Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 he is averaging a goal every 100 mins on the park this season. Not half bad.
Imeantasong Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Even Scott Booth said he was one of his favourite strikers in the SPL. Praise indeed.
Sherlock Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 He is a potential goal machine. But we'll never find out properly if we continue with this ludicrous one-up-front formation.
Cigaro Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 He is a potential goal machine. But we'll never find out properly if we continue with this ludicrous one-up-front formation. I agree. But Velicka is a nice player to have on his own if we are going to. A couple of his runs towards the end showed he has the intelligence, and also that extra bit of energy he doesn't look like he has. Well done Andrius.

Winnipeg Willie Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Yeh he is a good player but he isn't fit enough to last the whole game. He was still fitter than Nade who had just come on as a sub!
Cigaro Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 yeah, he may not be the fittest player ever, but he knows how to use it. Picks and chooses his runs based on the chance of succeeding. Very intelligent when it comes to weighing up the situation. I guess that is why he seems so cool in front of goal.
Buffalo Bill Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 He is a poacher. Poachers should scores goals. He scores goals. Two premises: one conclusion. There is no argument. Buffalo Bill .
