No. Our goals scored for column has until very recently been below 3rd. Think we are joint 3rd now in that respect (along with Motherwell). We have only scored 2 more than hibs and Dundee & 3 more than Killie. We do have the joint 3rd best defence though (along with Killie). One of the main reasons we are where we are. We have been guilty of profligate finishing/poor decision making all season long. Sunday was a microcosm of this (at the worst possible time).

I don't know how they came up with the format, but it is one they have used in previous years. Six players from Albion Rovers? They finished 9th in the league. The rest of the team must be pretty poor. Cumbernauld Colts (4th) also with six, I can just about understand, but only four from East Kilbride (1st)? It seems the selections must have been made by individuals who probably have a vested interest in promoting certain clubs.

By definition it means achieving what you set out to do. For me and I imagine the board that would be to finish top 4 and get to the latter stages of the cup. We've achieved both, as a club we have failed to find consistency pretty much ever. We are starting to see it, we've been to Hampden a lot in recent years and if we play the transfer window right we might start to see daylight between us and the likes of the vermin and Aberdeen. I'd say by definition this season has been a big success, a load of wins on the road and beating Celtic home and away.

First and foremost we need a number 10 (and have for a long long time) who can run at defenders with the ball and support the strikers. The gap between the midfield and the front players on Sunday was such a big issue and that's why Shankland constantly had to play deeper than he should have been. I'm confident that Dhanda will be an improvement on Grant, but whether he pushes us to the next level, only time will tell.
