Best debut that you have seen from a Hearts player?

02 May 2013 - 07:41 PM

As the title suggests.

Pasquale Bruno against Partick Thistle sticks out for me along with Juanjo playing as a trialist against St Johnstone, both played blinders.  Lee Wallace's debut against Killie in the cup was also excellent.

Any others that spring to mind?

Heard a cracker today

Guy at my work is a Liverpool fan and we got talking about the return leg in the Europa League at Anfield.  He tells me that Liverpool fans were really pissed off with the Hearts fans that night for showing disrespect by "not joining in or acknowledging You'll never walk alone".

He wasn't any better pleased when I told him that we're the Hearts and we show respect to no one.

Really, Liverpool??  Do they think that they're some sort of footballing royalty??

Delusional doesn't even come close.....................

As much as I honestly think the cup game will be difficult, I'm optimistic that the boys will still do us proud.  The below quote from www.imasmackheid.net comes straight from the Royal Ed:

"We are going to REALLY humiliate them on Sunday, hammer them into the ground. Gub them, beat them, give them a footballing lesson they will never forget, stuff them, murder them, out-sing their in-bred supporters, it'll be 5-0 with 5min to go and Sparky will get the ball on the half-way line, turn around, dribble back to our box and smash it past Williams making the score 5-1 just so that it will eventually shut their smug horrible ugly high-forehead toothless faces forever. Back to reality, -think we will win"

In today's Daily Record, reckons Hibs fans should be donating money to Hearts cause.

Sure to ruffle a few feathers down the methadone

I thought he started quietly today but grew into the game and was more and more effective as we pinned them back in the 2nd half.  Always looking for the ball and worked well with Dylan Mcgowan.

Clearly ready for a run in the team (as is D Mcgowan).
