Stupid going up a level making me play off harder tees.. Its hard enough as it is.. Stupid game

i'm throught the front 9 on the new Kiawah Island tournament and glad its easy settings as playing as a Master off the white tees makes quite a difference.

Only up to a 4 mph wind against but i was driver then 3 wood to get to 4th hole in 2, also barely made the carry to the fairway on 9.

A strong wind against at these holes and i think i'm struggling.

With all the new "levels" its also locked all the long drivers!

I'm stuck on hole number 13, it keeps freezing and comes up with an error when i go to put on this hole. +3 so far. Not helping me too much with "easy" settings <_<

Well its a multiplay tourney... so you can play again and again and try and get your score better. ...

People are all talking about clubs and stuff but you can buy some balls with more spin for 10 credits (thats about 6p in real money) but you might have some credits anyway.. These can make a huge difference to the game for putting and stopping it on the green.. give them a try (remember to equip them in your bag though)

SO go and play it again, see if you can beat your score!

GOod luck

I see when you look at new balls it says durability and has a rating. How long do the balls last?

New tournament just been set up.

The Nae fitba? Play golf instead. 48-hour, single scoring round counting tournament at St Andrews under relatively benign conditions is now open for you and your caddies to get going in this fitba-free weekend.

5 birdies in one round. Was destined to be a really good round for me, until unlucky hole 13. Hit the bunker with my tee shot, 5 to get out and straight into the fescue + 6 just for that hole :(

Round in 80. Dissapointed, but what a difference a good driver makes.

6+ for the front 9, really struggling with the wind and the fast greens. Looking forward to the back 9........NOT.

Sorry guys - when I chose 'Moderate' for the wind speed, I didn't expect 20 mph on every hole :verymad:

Yep - it just got a whole lot more difficult. Long irons with less accuracy into greens where I used to be lob-wedging it.

Persevere I suppose, though I tried the starter putter with the supposed slower meter and I couldn't notice any differencehttp://www.hmfckickback.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif

is it wrong to finish the new tourney with 4 bogies, to end up 5 over par, 10 shots off the lead and still feel proud of my score

I managed to get 79 on my easy peasy round :S compared to my 80 (only cos i made a tit of hole 13) on Boof's settings. I've come to the conclusion, that i'm pretty shite at this game

Formatting went a bit skew-whiff, but congrats to ElephantStones and AndyMcI77.

Seems like WGT has awarded the win to ES...

Will arrange another tourney if there's demand, but it looks like anyone can do it so feel free to crack on.

Quick question - I am not intending on buying any new clubs so i am playing with the starer clubs and the beginners putter..

Due to the fact that i am moving up the levels the game is becoming almost impossible as my driver doesnt reach the start of the fairway on some holes especially against the wind..

Is this game going to end up being pointless for me as i move up the levels.. Unless of course i spend money to buy new clubs..

I would say not pointless but difficult. WGT is a commercial concern and need to make money.
