As ever Dave, the benefit of retirement allows me plenty of time for dot counting.

An opportunity STILL to watch the league leaders. We could also chant to the Sheep, Your Going to Hampden, We're No!

Am I right in thinking that due to segregation and location of exits away fans can only get either one or two sections of the Roseburn or the whole stand? If that is the case looks like we are gambling on hearts fans filling 3 sections.

Hopefully good uptake and continuation of results might mean this policy is adopted for arse cheek games as well.

It's hardly gambling. We consistently open up section K. Imo,  it should be open for sale from the very beginning.

Yeah. I was just thinking it was quite steep as well. When did Aberdeen become a category a game?! Puts off walk up fans and maybe why we've not sold out recent games v smaller teams, albeit it is a few pounds cheaper.

Cup semi-final and derby in quick succession maybe a few will leave this one. Single tickets are not cheap

Year 1374

In recognition of his services, Edward III of England grants the English writer Geoffrey Chaucer a gallon of wine a day, for the rest of his life.

A gallon of wine a day would mean the rest of his life would be short. Wouldn't cost Eddie III much ☺️

I hope people will be flocking to the game. Just some may think the cost is too much with so many high profile games, and think they are being fleeced ewe know

oh ah grantona

The pricing is truly awful & can see this game struggling a bit because of it.

Walk up fans have £90+ to shell out in a month

Aberdeen £32 minimum

Semi final £30???

Derby £32 minimum (already purchased)

I'm guessing our stupid pricing structure is going to force a lot of people to buy a season ticket next year. Good for club in long run.

For someone like myself who looked at work schedule only making 7 home games as it stood before TV gets involved means you will end up losing out.

I'm working that Saturday on call and no way would I buy a ticket at £32 and hope to make it.

We are also setting ourselves up to be paying that at almost every away game. We have to be the most expensive ground to visit for every fan

We don't set the prices for the League Cup Semi but I suspect you won't be far off.

Glad of my season ticket just now.  Was flush when I bought it but 2 birthdays this month and with Christmas coming up, cash is tight.

1266

The Treaty of Perth, signed 2 July 1266, ended military conflict between Magnus VI of Norway and Alexander III of Scotland over the sovereignty of the Hebrides and the Isle of Man.[2]

The Hebrides and the Isle of Man had become Norwegian territory during centuries when both Scotland and Norway were still forming themselves as coherent nation-states, and Norwegian control had been formalised in 1098, when Edgar of Scotland signed the islands over to Magnus III of Norway. In Norwegian terms, the islands were the Sudreys, meaning Southern Isles.

The Treaty was agreed three years after the Battle of Largs in 1263. Michael Lynch has compared the treaty's importance with that of the Treaty of York of 1237.[3] The Treaty of York defined a border between Scotland and England which is almost identical to the modern border.

Largs is often claimed as a great Scottish victory, but the Norwegian forces, led by King Håkon IV, were not fully committed to battle and the result was inconclusive. Håkon had planned to renew military action the following summer, but he died in Orkney during the winter. His successor, King Magnus VI, sued for peace and secured the Treaty of Perth.[citation needed]

In the treaty Norway recognised Scottish sovereignty over the disputed territories in return for a lump sum of 4,000 marks and an annuity of 100 marks. The annuity was paid during subsequent decades. Scotland also confirmed Norwegian sovereignty over Shetlandand Orkney.[2]

It's £30 for bronze seats for Cat A games, not £32, not that that makes a huge difference!  I don't think the pricing structure is stupid overall, but I do think the ticket prices for silver and bronze seats are probably about a fiver more expensive than they should be for Cat A games, and I also think it's questionable whether Aberdeen should really be a Cat A game.
