Got to be the ugliest man in Scotland surely.

With McGinn gone he has to be a contender but I note that John Findlay isn't giving up without a fight.

The story I heard must have been wrong, I thought either his dad or grandad was a bluenose. Maybe he just said that when he first arrived at Ibroke as he seems to be the type that would claim an affinity with whatever team he played for, he did kiss the Celtic badge remember.

Certainly his grandad (on his dads side) was a Jambo

He thinks he’s special and a football genius. He was emptied from Ibrokes because he is a mouth and I bet the same thing went on at Livie.

I can imagine it’s something like that too. Miller is a ******.

So, let me get this right

Livi are a horrible wee club?

Miller is a terrible excuse for a human being?

Sounds like a marriage made in heaven, doesn’t it?

I think we should send them to marriage counselling and try and get them back together. ☺️

It could be that when Miller was young rangers were buying championships under Souness. A lot of gullible local kids followed that path at the time annoyingly.

Be at Hibs by the end of the week.

Lennon likes him

This is my thinking, popcorn will be onto him this morning. Then takes over when he jacks it in.

Dunno about the take over bit but Lennon himself came out and said he tried to sign him last summer

Think teams might be queuing up for him right now. Fact remains, he would do a job for anyone in this league. Rangers were a better team with him in it last season as we sadly know too well.

Too much of a public enemy for us to seriously consider him, but then again, I never thought I'd see me take to Kyle Lafferty before we signed him.

Off topic but can I just say I ****ing love how we call Lennon 'popcorn'. I called him 'cocoa pop teeth' but I got trumped.

Whoever you are who started this take a bow son.

Miller rarely stuck anywhere long as a player and often left under a cloud. No reason why he should be different as a manager.

I think they were 1 down at the time though the final score was definitely 2-0 with a late pen. The rest of your point stands though.

Kevin McHattie was just a young guy who probably dreamt of being a pro footballer from an early age. With an act of selfish cruelty KM robbed him of it. Absolutely shameful stuff and I watched the whole thing unfold from about 25 yards away. Fat Swally subbed him off soon afterwards though any decent ref would have given him a straight red.

KM is a piece of shit with no place at Tynie. I wouldn't take him for free.

Bang on the money pal, I absolutely detest that scummy little runt.

Well thats two clubs in a row that have had to discipline/sack Miller.

Our own CL mentioned in a radio documentary that when he took over Scotland he was disruptive in the dressing room (although their relationship improved).

Yet the media go on about how he is a model professional.

Theyve not sacked him. He was on a 2 month probationary period which expires at the end of this month. Livvy doubted his ability to play AND manage at the same time. Miller disagreed. They told him he wasn't being extended into a full contract if that was the case.

Correct and very short-sighted of Livvy to take on a player-managers when they knew that they weren't favourable towards player-managers.

If it were one of many other people, I'd feel sorry for them but, for many reasons (not least he McHattie assault), I have no problems with this outcome.

I'd say not making it through your probation period is worse than getting sack.

End result is that is 2 clubs he has worked for that he has left under anything but amicable circumstances.

When did Kenny Miller sign for Livingston as a player ?  Was it this transfer window ?

Are players allowed to move twice in 1 transfer window  ?  Doubt it.

Something strange about this.

Despite gaining promotion to the top division against all the odds, Hopkin left with nothing else lined up.

They the appoint a player-manager, the latter of which he has no experience of. You would expect then, the importance of him picking his own assistant would be greater in that circumstance, but he isn’t allowed - instead he was stuck with a convicted criminal, who assisted Hopkin and whom the Chairman would like to appoint as manager, but who doesn’t want the job.

So another new man will arrive and will, presumably, be forced have the same assistant again.

I’ve also seen tweets alleging that the owner isn’t the real owner, there is someone, possibly a previous owner, lurking in the background for whatever reason and tweets/comments from John Hughes and Tam McManus hinting that the press release was written by Hans Christian Andersen.

Interesting.

What am I missing here? who?

I see David Martindale as "acting manager" on their website.

I refereed him in amateur football and when he played for Pumpherston Juniors.

Is it him?

Yeah, he was convicted in 2006 (I think) on a drugs charge. He got 6 years or something.
