Anyone having bother with their post in Midlothian?

Dunno if my postie is just on holiday and not been covered properly but over past few weeks it's been erratic.

Lots of stuff late (or missing) even missed a hospital appointment as the letter seemingly took over a week to arrive.

Anyone else?

Problem solved.......maybe.

Bloody NHS getting postman to type up, post and then deliver their letters, as well as delivering the usual mail and parcels. I blame the tories.

When you see him coming to your house, do you sing out the window "Henry, gies a wave, Henry Henry gies a wave"?

Henry served me a couple of pints in the Diggers one time.

I think he was going to go into the pub game and was working there for experience and no he never spilled a drop.

No, Scott’s wasn’t small. It was the quite large one on the first corner you come  to on Rose Street after turning into it from South Charlotte Street. I think you’re maybe thinking of the Gordon Arms which was pretty wee and was also a real ‘Hearts pub’.

I am. I seem to recall being in there 10 years or so ago and an ex hearts player was behind the bar.

Then again, maybe as usual I'm taking pish.

Gordon Arms was a great wee boozer years ago.

In 1996 a guy who had something to do with the place produced around 20 charcoal etchings of six of the Hearts team to celebrate the team reaching the League Cup Final (4-3 Rangers  ).  I was lucky enough to get my name down quickly for one of them and have it on my wall out here. The players were Levein, Locke, Allan Johnston, Berry, Alan Lawrence and wee Robbo.

I’ll take a pic of it and post it later.

Thanks, I love it.

It actually looked better when it had glass on it but it got broken in transit when we were moving over here. I'll really need to get it repaired one day :D

Rings a wee bell actually but not 100%. Think so though.
