Could it be an Ajax style strip? The lettering looks like what we had on the old 70s one.

FoH forever

Nice, have the toffs version of the 70's top. Subtle enough to wear in place that had no football colours allowed

Intrigued already. Clearly the back of the top as that would be a very small and high placed badge

I haven't bought a non-sale top for a long time. I would make an exception for a modern version of that.

No  'F' or 'C' to complete old badge.

Hope it is not Ajax style top.

Also the 'teasing' worked first time around, no need to do it every season.

All roads lead to Gorgie

I hope we are not going to have that badge on the front as it looks a bit naff and looks like a five year old designed it in the 70s. I liked the the championship globe as a one off but we have best badge in the country and don't need to troll the past for ideas!

I like the colour as it looks spot on though!

Looks like that's the back. The lighter bit is because it's only one layer of cloth there as it's been held up in light so going on that I'm thinking round collar aswell.. Not ITK all imo of course... ?

Yeah I guess, but the all maroon in 2005/2006 was so classy.  Just reminds me of good times

Umbro have described it as "Hearts World Cup home strip" Whatever that means.

Where did you read this?

The HM is a nice little nod to the past. Absolutely nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Not sure why it’s being described as horrific. It’s just a couple of letters. We have had a badge on the badge before so nothing to get het up about. As for the teasers, I like them. They certainly get people interested and talking. Not everything in life can be instant gratification. Some of you need to take a chill pill and enjoy the ride. You won’t be disappointed, I mean how can you be, it’s a Hearts top at the end of the day.

The pattern showing through from other side is maybe telling....

Looks like it shows a panel (possibly ajax style) and a v neck..?

Does it not mean hearts strip over the  World Cup?  That’s how I read it.

That HM is ****ing horrific.

No it's not - it's just a small logo on the back of the strip at the neck FFS.  It is obviously a nod to the past ie the old Ajax style strip.

All maroon is NOT a proper HMFC strip and never will be!

If that abortion of a logo is visible it will affect sales. Might gain a few older supporters but lose many younger ones. If it's underneath then I wouldn't mind.

Looks like a 5 year old drew it.

Seems pretty obvious to me that it is a tongue in cheek comment that Hearts new kit launch is a greater event than the world cup.

The > is reference to the mathematical symbol meaning ‘greater than’.

Umbro are basically saying Hearts are more important than the World Cup.
