Banderson knows diddly squat about our transfer dealings until we want him to know

Famous 1874

Incomings so far:

Uche Ikpeazu (pre contract)

Steven MacLean (pre contract)

Bobby Burns (undisclosed)

Jake Mulraney (player exchange)

Olly Lee (pre contract)

Hopefully can get a few of the loanees back- Naismith, Milinkovic, Adao and Mitchell along with maybe 2 more higher calibre players (Berra and Lafferty level) then we’ll be in a strong position for next season.

Suspect the loanees will come later as the clubs will no doubt want money we cannot afford for them.

Also in the Evening Telegraph, lists of Dundee United and Dundee's released players including Flood, Moshni and Holt. Simon Murray's gone back to Hibs from Dundee and now Dundee United want him.

Scott McDonald gone as well, he could probably do a job somewhere in the Premiership.

Would be over the moon with the five players we have signed plus Adao, Milinkovic, Naismith and Mitchell  and a GK.

GK

Smith

Souttar

Berra

Mitchell

Adao

Djoum

Lee

Naismith

Lafferty

Milinkovic

Subs:

Hamilton

Hughes

Brandon

Burns

Cochrane

MacLean

Ikpeazu

BBC also happy to go with the line that this is a Steven Gerrard signing, even though groundwork presumably done before he arrived...

Exact same with Scott Arfield. He signed a pre-contract before Gerrard was appointed & now he’s Gerrard’s first signing of his “Rangers Revolution”

pathetic.

The Sun and the Record went after Levein big time through Neilson and Cathro with 'whose picking the team/ signing the players' nonsense and Neilson and Cathro both got to pick their players. The huns DoF is literally signing the players...

The double standard is horrific. The first thing any manager does is gets his own players in the door. Gerrard would sign scousers/ other English players. These are clearly not his signings and I hope it blows up in their faces big time.

Gerrard would have given the final say on both the moves you would have to imagine.  Both players are great additions to what they have now also.

Nope. Both deals were done before they were even speaking to Gerrard.

You can pull out a pre-contact though.

Even so at least they where forward planning regardless of who the manager would be.  Not one of the thousands of things to slate them with tbh.

What? That Gerrard would have the final say?  Has he cancelled the pre-contract? That would suggest he’s given the go ahead for The deals to be completed.

Buffon saying he want to keep playing after he leaves Juve, could be the answer to our goalkeeping issue?

Would I be right in saying Craig Sibbald is now on a free? Over 200 appearances for Falkirk and only 22, surely worth a punt?

Martin Skrtel's agent says the the 33-year-old defender's move to Rangers from Fenerbahce is dead in the water becausethe Scottish club are finding it "impossible" to finance.

Lol.

I'm surprised the Rangers PR machine would print wording of that nature

Steven Gerrard has taken a massive reputational gamble going to Rangers
