We had 4 days in Blackpool early May and we have another 4 days in Craig Tara haven at Ayr in October with the grandkids... Looking at booking a cottage in Lake District for next year and maybe get a decent two weeker in 2020 hopefully Cuba, Cape Verde, Dominican Republic or maybe even Goa for somewhere different.. The pool was still a bit in the cold side, however after you are in for a few minutes it is fine our 3 year old spent a fair bit of time in it without ever complaining about being cold. Overall we enjoyed it but there were no pirates about in the day which from reading previous reviews there has been before. If I remember correctly, it was once a week (possibly twice) when the pirates attacked during the day. Other than that, it was mainly at night.
