1874robbo Posted December 5, 2017 Share Posted December 5, 2017 My wife had a little bump with the car last night, the damage isn't enough to warrant going through insurance as I reckon a repair will cost less than the excess anyway. its a few little scrapes on the corner of the rear bumper, it's through to the black under the white paint. i contacted a company called chips away who repair at your house but they've just replied saying they have no coverage in my area(Edinburgh). just wondering if anybody knows any people that do these kind of repairs at your home or work rather than going to an expensive body shop. It means going to them, but they do an 'express' service. Surprised Chipsaway saying they don't have anyone in Edinburgh though, as they advertise they have a franchisee in Edinburgh. They're just lazy shysters. Probably sees it as too much effort for their skill level etc so just don't take the job. You'll find someone though I'm sure.
