Martin_T
You may remember reading that my son Cohen had open heart surgery last year at 10 weeks old. Thankfully he made a full recovery and is a very active young toddler. His story is featured in the centre pages of today's Scotsman. http://www.scotsman.com/news/opinion/james-cant-we-re-saving-more-babies-with-heart-defects-thanks-to-pioneering-work-1-4619110

Jambo-Jimbo
Really good news, it is amazing what they can do nowadays. Having had heart problems myself, I can say that the help and support which I received from the British Heart Foundation (BHF) was excellent, not just in hospital but also at home, where they are only a phone call away and you can talk to a cardiac nurse who will answer any questions you have or offer any advice you may need. They also fund lots of research and that research saves lives.

Yes I think this is the 3rd double page spread in a national newspaper in the past 4 years 36 minutes ago, highway said: How are you keeping Martin? Hope your still fighting the fight. Thanks for asking. I'm actually pretty well, it's progressing but very slowly so far. I'm still working full-time, being a dad, socialising and going to the football like I've always done. Excellent stuff, and good to see you're making time for yourself as well. I have a good friend who works as a fundraiser for BHF and will send her the link.
