I've seen enough of this imposter let's get a real manager in. Why not ask the fans who they'd like to manage Hearts rather than Levein.

This.  If we lose on Saturday we need to organise and make our voices heard after the game.

There should be a protest from the fans and the main reason is that there won't be action from Ann Budge if we don't.

Keep the protests till after the game, roar us on for 90 minutes but if we are again hopeless let's let them know.

Even if we do win he has to go.

I am dreading the derbies this season

You can bet every hibs fan will be counting down the days to the first Derby. I actually think Cathro might break another record in that game for all the wrong reasons.

mitch41 was banging on about there being one last year prior to the game up in Perth- although he got all mixed up about when it was supposed to be.

He also couldn't tell us what game it would be at. Or what it involved. Or who would be involved. Or what it would consist of.

He promised us "fans in their thousands" and that they would leave "Our Queen Ann in no doubt" as to what they thought.

Turns out he was talking shite.

The good thing is that if we do get beat or draw on Saturday Cathros sitting at the Wheatfield, he'll get to know he's not wanted.

We've done backing them but we're still getting worse with every passing game this guy is in charge of.

For me its about qualification on Saturday.

Failing to qualify for the knock out stages of the league cup from this sort of group is unacceptable and he'll surely need to go if he doesn't qualify.

I think he will qualify but you have to seriously worry about the league campaign, especially with the start we have.

Reasons to not sack him

Errrrr Ummmm shite day out there today eh

Reasons to sack him

Makes John Mcglynn, Csaba, Mclean, Korobotchjob and Frail all look good

Worst home defeat in 44 years

Lost to a 4th tier Scottish league team

Since he took over we would be relegated

We are getting worse with every game

No strength on the bench or on the pitch (he has had 2 transfer windows)

His post-match ramblings

The Hibs game

The players VERY CLEARLY do not, have not and are not responding to him

He has never played the game

Completely inexperienced

??.and bum fluff ****ing annoys me

All roads lead to Gorgie

The biggest protest was walking out before the team lap of honour at the end of last season. I am glad 90% of us did and I my thought at the time is it was the final nail in Cathro's coffin. Alas not but I can see a lot of emptying of seats in games to come if a dramatic improvement isn't witnessed from the word go.

So other than sitting on the internet whinging mitch starting yet another thread on the same subject as a dozen existing one already, what is it that you're doing?

Obviously a big clued up guy like you who really does have a clue was there last night and in Elgin too no doubt. Tell us what you thought of the performances you saw when you were at those games.

You're all clued up mitch tell us your plans...

Not what you think should be done, not what you would like to see done but what you personally are doing with your great big all clued up head on.

Quote from Cathro on the result last night.

The demand was always on ourselves to try and win the match on Saturday, but now we know we have to win to go through, so that?s where our focus is.

He said the same thing before the Peterhead game and said they wanted to win to top the group. He also says that the players made the wrong decisions.

In my opinion the person that made the wrong decision was CL in appointing Cathro.

It seems that this group of players are useless under any sort of pressure.

I'd suggest cooling your jets and save your protests until the league games have commenced. Whilst I personally view protests as pedantic, I'd understand if you were to want one should we see the same poor form after say, ten league games.

Let's just see what the repoonce is like on Saturday. Will be very interesting to hear chris Suttons take on it. And also cathro response when he is interviewed on TV.

He has lost any moral support he had at the start of the season. I wasn't expecting to spank teams in the league cup however I wasn't expecting to be defeated either.

Be very interesting to see the players Responce. You don't get shit overnight

Sadly, it will be the same response after our biggest home thumping in 44 years and 'that' derby defeat.

 Nah.

The problem with threads like this is that they're repetitive and boring.

Perhaps if, for one, the OP, instead of just simply moaning, suggested a course of action.

Perhaps he could take it upon himself to attempt to organise like minded supporters.

Perhaps he could suggest a course of action we could all agree was a good idea and would perhaps want to get involved with.

Or maybe it's just easier to moan on t'internet.

How we respond on Saturday will show whether the players truly play for the manager. I went to Partick away after the Hibs defeat to view first hand the response he had promised after that debacle and there was none.

Had put it down to the players on 6 month contracts, not playing for jersey.

Same can't be said for this current squad. Experienced international players who I hope are hurting after last night.

As fas as I'm concerned, a single match 'blip' within the group stage can be set aside as long as we win the group and progress. Failing to win at home on Saturday and probably going out is certainly not a 'blip' and would be unacceptable and difficult to excuse or forgive.

The bigger picture is about performances and the prospects of ongoing improvement in order to enter the league campaign. A continuation of what we saw last season simply wont be acceptable or sustainable. It will become very apparent and very quickly unsustainable. Unless there is a reasonable start to the season for results and general performance, the absolute maximum of games he should get is 7. A low points yield with a dubious set of performamces should result in a change of head coach.

Cruyff Turn

For last night's result? Nah

Locking the gate after the horse has bolted comes to mind. We should have sacked him at the end of last season and let a new manager build a team this summer. Too late now, we have to see how this one pans out in time.

Certainly can't let it run on until Christmas either and waste another season.

We will find out on Saturday if this was just a bad day at the office or whether there are deeper routed problems with our approach.

One thing is for sure, on Saturday we must beat Dunfermline comfortably. Win that and we move on.

The League games will be a truer barometer of how we are developing. If we don't win any of our first 4 games then I will sharpen the pitchfork, until then chill, it's no the end of the world.
