Thought you were taking the piss, but you're right. Very good at club level, and has scored 29 in 33 for his country. We'd all be spunking ourselves if we'd announced someone with that record.

Still doesn't stop me from hoping he gets amnesia at Hibs and forgets what a football looks like, leading to an unsurpassable record of own goals scored in an Edinburgh Derby. :smuggy:

The boy is called Deivydas Matulevicius for anyone interested.

The Internet

Folk editing wiki pages to make new signings look good is a tragic part of modern football.

7 goals in 30 games last season in Belgium - not exactly earth shattering

I think Benuisis(sp) had a great strike rate in Lithuania. Meant nothing when he got here.

Did he actually score for Hearts?

His 5 goals internationally were against Latvia, Luxembourg, San Marino, UAE and Lichtenstein. He hasn't started an international since 2015 or scored in one since 2014

Here are his stats - definitely a huge 4 goal haul last year for his new team - 3 for the previous team in the Roumanian League - he seems to change teams a lot

That's not to say he''s mince, but he's clearly not top drawer either

Mind that Hibs fan who wrote to the President of Lithuania and later Tweeted him "what the **** is going on?" when our CVA went through  .
