I disagree. Celtic are his club now. He is surely allowed to celebrate winning the cup

Behave yourself, aye right enough he should have just stood there and mouthed the words 'I'm not celebrating, I love you Heart of Midlothian'

Hopefully one day Craig will come back and be a great ambassador on or off the field for Hearts.

But I'm sure we won't allow that to happen.

His team have just won the cup. I'd expect any player wearing our shirt to act the same.

No real problem with Gordon, although it's horrible seeing him in that shirt.

For the avoidance of doubt, Pressley was, is and shall always be a helmet.

I love hearts, they are my club and they are my only club.

If I was offered the chance to play for Celtic, win titles, play champions league football and collect a big wage while doing it that sets my family up for life I would be signing without hesitation.

If that was me and my team mate had just scored a last minute winner in the Scottish cup final I'd be losing my shit.

I'd be running round in circles, arms in the air giving it the full Gowser.

He just won a cup and went the domestic season unbeaten. I'll forgive him for being happy about that...

Has turned into a wank when we play them though.

Quite obviously you are at the wind up. This is a guy that played out of his skin for us, helped win us a Scottish Cup and 2nd place in the league and earned us ?9m in transfer fees.

I'm frankly astonished it took until today for this thread to appear. Was watching it live and was expecting 3 or 4 threads on it within 5 minutes.

Absolutely this.

The bitter twisted brigade are still blinded by hatred.

Berra didn't pick money.

Came back to play for a club he loved(and didn't even support as a kid unlike Gordon) on reduced wages and he wanted to come back and help Hearts improve. I'd hazard a guess he's financially set up for life too and has shown how good a man he is and not been greedy.

PHM...

Gordon has made a shed load of money before he signed for Celtic so it's not about the money. He's now just a good goalie that once played for our club. People getting uptight about him celebrating a goal for his club is a bit strange, he's totally bought into all things Celtic now and wouldn't be surprised to see him making appearances at half time at parkhead when he's retired.

Gordon has had a very hard career.

There were long years where he thought he may never play again, let alone win a trophy. He's entitled to celebrate.

He has always been respectful to the Hearts support when he's faced us unlike pressley who disrespected the supporters.

We can dream that one day he'll fall out of favour at Celtic and come home to Hearts where he belongs.

When hes about 40? Time to forget about him, he's a good goalie who made us a bit of money years ago, certainly no Hearts man.

Sorry bud but that's nonsense. Gordon's supported Hearts all his days. Think you need to seperate Personal/Professional life.

Every time I've seen him at tynecastle he has acknowledged and never goaded the supporters. Never seen him give any GIRUY shite to home supporters like pressley did but perhaps you can prove that wrong.

Sorry but he's played football from a very young age, so how has he supported Hearts all his days.

On another thread we are praising players such as Gazza and Larsson and on this some are tearing into a Scottish cup winner and probably the beat goalie that will ever come through our system.

Good one.

I'll take your word for it then since you know him.

I still think we'll see him more at parkhead when he retires, which would be strange behaviour from a Hearts supporter.

Did craig Beattie support Celtic ?

I couldn't give a rats if he did. I - and he - certainly enjoyed that penalty in the 2012 semi

Professional players should give their all for however pays their wage. Whether that is playing for a rival or not

All this "snake" and "I wouldn't do that" is crap. Footballers are amongst the biggest expendable going and we as supporters should know that

Berra had no other offers of more money in Scotland and would have went to Celtic in a heartbeat if he was even nearly good enough.

All three are legends. More so Elvis.

I still love Craig Gordon. Hate who he plays for and their success, but after the hell he went through he deserves these moments given his talents. Turning down Chelsea also shows he cares more about competing and playing football than simply money.

Me too. We've had some great keepers at our club and he is right up there with the very best. For a long while it looked like he might never play again so I don't blame him for savouring every minute, let alone every medal.

As for Pressley, the chest bump thing pissed me off at the time but folk have to move on. He was a great captain and, like Gordon, he played a key role in one of our best seasons.

He's been a horrible, twisted, Celtic prick in many games against us.
