Been watching FA cups for as long as I can remember. The Arsenal v Man Utd 1979 stands out for me. Not seen it for years tho

There was a programme on BT 2 today called FA cup mash up where they had in time play from different finals for the full 90 mins , some old classics in it

I used to love FA Cup Final as a kid. The whole day in front of the telly. A real treat.

Great goal from Keith Houchen there...

Some of the names in that Tottenham team that lost to Coventry. Chris Waddle, Glenn Hoddle, Clive Allen, Richard Gough.

Spurs v City replay 1981

Classic

My favourite. One of the first games I can remember watching as a child.

Every now and again I go and watch Steve MacKenzie's equaliser on YouTube!

Love when channels do that.

BBC do the same when the World Cup is on. They run a cycle of classic World Cup matches throughout the month.

I watched that road to Wembley thing. Enjoyed the football, but the poets and bands nearly spoiled it.

Most one sided I saw as a laddie was 1974. When Liverpool wiped the floor with Newcastle United. 3-0 going on 12-0.

He was brilliant in that game. The immortal Bill Shankly's swansong.

Ironically he was probably more worshipped on Tyneside than Merseyside

Always remember hoping that the FA cup would end as a draw so it would go to extra time when Scottish TV only showed the Scottish cup final. Even better if extra time ended tied and we got a Thursday night replay. Who can forget Spurs v Man City replay with Ricardo Villa.

Mr Negative.

Mr Slaveringshite.

You do know some people who may want to watch it may not have accces to the iplayer on their telly but will have the red button.

But looky look- you get attention.

They had that game assessed by a modern referee on today's standards and he said he would have shown six reds and twenty yellows.

I grow up in the Scottish Borders where we had Border TV, so we got both matches on Cup Final day. One of the few perks of living down there at the time!

I couldn't care less about the English game no although I get to the odd Norwich game. But the Everton man utd game in 85 was one of my favourites.

Somebody else said that. Not as I remember it. Thought it was done and dusted for Arsenal then Man U, then Arsenal again. You might be right but
