S-forms offered and firmly told to ram it...2 games later I got my knee smashed to bits in a tackle and didn't play again for 2 years. Still don't regret it!! At 15 I had Jimmy Stanton at my door asking me to sign for them after being released from DUFC I said to him I just can't. Don't dwell on it or regret it tbh. I had electric pace and an eye for goal but can't honestly say if I was good enough. Maybe lower league but I hated training. Brutal long unsociable hours and shite money, the sheer stress of just hitting your budget targets every month never mind stock takes and costing of menus and heath and safety is fecking stress beyond stress. It would just feel wrong... I had to wear one for my best mates stag do as a forfeit. Not a pleasant thing as a Hearts fan.
