Unfortunately Aberdeen is as far as I've travelled.

When I was 14 though, I lived in Hawick and had a ST myself, so traveled up every second Saturday. Had to get the bus about 11am and wouldn't get home til 8pm. For a 14 year old, that's a fair amount of traveling.

Zagreb on gambo airways.

That was some gig the way it panned out with Gambo

I went by flight and Train, cracking time all the same reckon we must have done 5 countries on the way

On the Train for 12hrs drinking 10% beer... the Hungarians are a strange lot

Zagreb Vienna Prague. Vienna by far the most enduring. 36 hours by coach which was 1 day 2 nights.. Sure coach from Tyncastle . Absolute mare of journey. Least we won though. If old memory correct

Prague on a coach from Tynecastle.

It's was 1986 and the Iron Curtain was still in force.

Border Guards kept us waiting ages at the frontier on the way in.

Similar here although on Glasgow hearts and before some smart arse says I don't remember a large chunk of the journey :D

Prague twice does that count double :D

Prague thrice does that count treble, but Dnepropetrovsk was my furthest

To be fair Dnepr might be further than thrice respect. If I remember correctly there were only about 17 visas issued for that one , low number anyway :D

As stated earlier - Munich for me. That was by plane however.

Longest journey by bus was to Southampton.

Took what felt like three weeks.

Went to that one also by bus, with Prestonpans Hearts.

Furthest would probably be Zagreb. Went to Tallin via London and Riga (drove to Tallin from there).

The game was 0-0 with Crucky saving a penalty

QOTS  was a Cup game Montrose I've  forgot

different Celtic game but the excursion busses from St. Andrews square I remember vividly.A whip round for the driver, massive carry outs ,singing, stop for a beer, and a chip supper on the way home.Happy days

Vienna by bus (Green Tree) was an absolute marathon. Best part of 2 days to get there. Absolutely Baltic at the game, a friendly rendezvous with some German skinheads after the game and we got our bus windows smashed just for good measure !! Munich was a breeze in comparison.
