peebles jambo
Was at the Penicuik Scottish cup tie today, whereupon i discovered the juniors version of willie collum, the man was an absolute disgrace, his name is Stephen brown, a total waste of space, proceeded to ruin a very entertaining game, don't get me wrong the better team on the day won but some of his decisions were beyond a joke
King prawn
I work with a junior ref who gets kicks out of booking 8 year olds for mistimed tackles...
AlimOzturk
I think you have to be damaged to some degree to want to become s Ref. No win situation imo
muldoon74
My aunties ex husband was a junior ref in the late 80's early 90's... Parents from both sides throwing bricks at his car as he left.. Had to have police escort for matches etc... He's not a total fud btw.. and by all accounts from unbiased outsiders wasn't a bad ref ... Just parents and junior sides supporters are a bunch of ***** who do and say things they can't get at pro games. Also have a relative who was bannedf rom his sons school league games for being too abusive towards officials etc.. (He's a Hun thug btw..) Homme
It's like that ref dallas. I get that a lot of young boys want to grow up and be like their old man but come on!
RussAsia
Being a ref must be quite the money maker.. what is it about 30 quid a game.. 2 on a Saturday and 2 on a Sunday most likely.. possibility of some through the week.. none of it taxed... Some of these older guys must be making a killing..
John Findlay
I refereed upto u19 level when I lived in Portsmouth. That was right up until 2004. Qualified through the Hampshire FA. Survived refereeing games at Leigh Park, paulsgrove and Wecock farm. Three of the roughest schemes in the Portsmouth postcode area. I actually got more hassle in considered posher areas like stubbing tonight and Emsworth. I enjoyed it. Then as others have alluded I'm not right in the head:-0)
