Last week I posted a link in the main stand thread to a short documentary my son had produced.

Feedback on his work has been very positive and I was asked to create a thread by a few posters to bring it to the attention of people who may have missed it.

Here's the link https://youtu.be/kdElpuHb4xE

Hope you enjoy it.

He also does match day vlogs, which can be seen on his YouTube channel FootballMania HD

Absolutely smashing, which is not the easiest thing to type into a keyboard , with a glass of malt whiskey I your hand....

Great job... It will be hard to see the old stand go..... Done stewarding on 3 different periods there... Remember an old hearts internal steward, who sat down behind Mr cardownie and George fowkes, just behind the directors section... Saying in real Abandon, he must have been near 80,. Away and boil her Heid, ya Muppets....With the meat like substance that seemed to float on the pies grease...Flying ?t of his bashers...God bless him....

Top work.

For those of you that are interested, he has also produced another cracking one of the new Training Centre at Riccarton, worth a look to see what we now have at our disposal.

Really enjoyed this.  Well done to Ian.

My seat has been in the main stand for over 30 years (been going over 50) - I'll definitely miss the stand; lots of happy memories there.

Liked the documentary & loved to hear a kid become immersed in his club's history & statistics. Brings back so many memories of my childhood when I could have told you similar about almost any club in the UK.

I'm not a Hearts fan, but like to think I still share the same enthusiasm as this kid & hundreds of thousands like him, young or old........despite my age.

I enjoy reading the comments on KB, some I agree with and others not so much. As fans of various clubs we'll never agree on everthing, but I'd like to think as football fans we still share a common bond........the undying love & affection for the game that has brought each & everyone of us such heartache & such joy.

Well done, great insight into what makes Hearts tick!

Loved all the old photos and the music in places was also very good.

Will look forward to your video blog of the grand opening of the new stand.

Young Hearts beat strongest!!!!

Is your lad planning to do this long term cos I love these sort of things a few clubs do it where it's inside their ground seeing the player etc.

I mentioned earlier that I really enjoyed the video, and on watching it again the footprint and commentary walking towards the stadium was an excellent encapsulation of its intrinsic value,

A reminder of how fortunate we are that the hallowed ground will be there for future generations.

He's very much into it at the minute and wants to get into media journalism as a career.

Saying that he's only 13, so long term when you're that age is next month.

He said that was what he was aiming for!

Joking aside he's done that part really well, goosebump stuff.

Ot, just wondering who you support? Or just a general football fan?

Proud Dad alert- just to say thanks to everyone who shared, liked, viewed Aaron's documentary over the last week or so., it currently 6,000 views on YouTube and the feedback from lots of places has been amazing

Happy to say Hearts Tv have picked up on it and offered him the chance of a guest spot as a co-commentator on this weekends game v Patrick Thistle. Faither might even get on the guest list.

It's never too late to subscribe (apparently) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjdJgoeqCV05eHIigufAJIQ

I watched this and also the tour of Riccarton, and the wee lad seems to have a natural flair for this sort of thing, I was very impressed by him.  He could have a bright future ahead of him if he continues to pursue this path.

Think so too RobNox. He's doing great stuff for his age. Looking forward to Saturday, he's actually more nervous about tomorrow!

Your laddie can be proper proud of that - fantastic stuff.

What I would say though is it would have been good to hold off until the end product and had a tour of the new one, perhaps there will be a part 2. I will look forward to it if so.

Talented young man.

My daughter wants to be a youtuber, unfortunately she thinks it revolves around singing shite American pop music and reviewing 'candy'

He's certainly planning on doing a part 2, hopefully he'll be able to be accommodated by Hearts at the time. We've been throwing about ideas between us about that and I'm sure he'll come up with something.

Think his decision to publish has been vindicated given the new opportunity he's been given by Hearts TV

Guess it depends on your definition of Hearts.

He tweeted it to Hearts (amongst loads of others) someone who posts occasionally on this site from Hearts TV" has been in touch, nobody else from Hearts have. Not sure if that answers your question...
