Hate to stereotype, but African goalies are rank.

It is a strange one that as they tend to be great Athlete's but you are right there are not too many really good African Goalies. You don't see too many good African swimmers either.

I remember watching the competition a few years back but found the pace of the football far to slow. Too many games where nothing really happened.

Garth Crooks' involvement didn't help either.

Skeletal mass, denser muscles (can grow muscle quicker) and less body fat.

Fact, not racist before the justice warriors try and have a go.

Zimbabwe 2-1 up on Algeria at HT

Algeria have Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani, Yacine Brahimi (and former Hearts goalie Rais M'Bolhi) in their team.

Riyah Mahrez scored his second a few minutes ago to equalise the game.

89th minute now.

Another draw this evening, wdu guys think?

Or a 4-1, usually is :D:P

To Senegal I mean, who won 4 of their qualifying matches 2-0 (which is what I am backing) :D

I'm pretty sure the AFCON is about as corrupt as you'll get, I don't think you could call any game with any real confidence.

We've already had the usual farce of teams threatening not to travel or play due to pay disputes with their national federations.

Happens every time

I've bet the next 5 games to have both teams to score, 52/1 skybet.

Not a bad call, joined you in that, the odds for BTTS appear to be very generous.

According to Eurosport, Rherras is on the bench, although livescores has Ismail El Haddad in place of him and BBC have Sofiane Boufal.

The latter two didn't make the squad so I'm pretty certain he is on the bench.

Congo make sub on 65th minute to replace a player on a yellow.

Sub then picks up two yellows and gets sent off on 79mins.

And some act like managements an easy job.

LiveScore showing 12 players on the bench, is that actually correct?

Yeah

23 players in squad, all not in 11 on bench

Standard for international tournaments now

Tonight's second game is being played on the same pitch as the Ghana/Uganda game that is on right now.

There are four sets of fans in the stands.

:cornette:

A shambles of a tournament.

Seems to work for a live stream.

Just tuning in now though, what's all this about 4 sets of fans? They all in the ground at the same time and half waiting for the next game?

That's exactly how it is.

The pitch is a disgrace to start with, it'll be ready for planting potatoes in after the second game of the day.

Eyes have stopped bleeding and have switched over to see Berra rip Lincoln a new one, well I backed him to score anytime @ 8/1 with Bet 365 for an interest.
