Apologies if this is repetition

Jammy T
And a new one from Macphee. Beast Boy
And a new one from Macphee. He was also at our home game v sevco last week http://www.deadlinenews.co.uk/2016/12/06/hearts-assistant-head-coach-austin-macphee-explains-decision-snub-sfa-ian-cathro/?platform=hootsuite Sad that the backwards thinking ponderous Scottish Football Association could not secure their man, through sticking with disasterous managerial and administrative appointments like Strachan and co. To chose Northern Ireland over Scotland because they can qualify for a World Cup is a total embarrassment. I'm just glad that we can hopefully benefit from their incompetence. ?There are targets at Hearts ? which I know Ian and I have ? and there is a target at Northern Ireland, which is obviously qualifying for the World Cup. It would be a lot to miss out on as a young coach.?
kila
Motivating key bits for me in the OP article: ?The main difference will be decision making. I?m now the person who makes all the decisions all of the time." ?I?ve always done the work. I?ve just been handing it over to other managers before. The way I work on a day-to-day basis won?t really change that much, it is just the other things that will be different." ?I went there without a word of Portuguese and, a couple of days in, I?m told to run a whole training session with very few English speakers in there. Either you do it or you don?t ? you step up or you don?t. My very poor Portuguese was made up for by enthusiasm and gesticulations. We were fine from then on.? Jammy T
Yep kila Seems to me that part of his success will be from motivation and man management. He will give the players a lot of belief IMO. If his chat in training and pre match is anything like his conference yesterday the players should be buzzing (copyright Rix, lol).... Victorian
He certainly seems to have a clear idea of what the job will entail. It's also great to see him fully disclose his own sense of inexperience ny saying he wants and needs help, support and input from others. I imagine he'll be telling the players that their input and advice is also welcomed and will be listened to. He's got confidence and humility which is a good mix. Section Q
If Boyd read that article, which I doubt he will, he would be totally confused. The reason is simple. He is as thick as shit in the neck of a bottle. With a dubious looking rug on his heid...!
A_A wehatethehibs
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/12/07/appointment-ian-cathro-hearts-has-inadvertently-condemned-humans/ That's class. Regardless of your political persuasion, both the Guardian and the Telegraph are proper professional media outlets. Great to see it doesnt matter if you're from the right or from the left, we can all unite in ripping the pish out of Kris Boyd and his gutter colleagues at the third rate magazine the s*n, along with the other non entities who have embarrassed themselves like Fullerton or craigan. The best part is grieves saying "it was just click bait to get traffic to the website", in other words "I was merely pretending to be retarded, aren't I smart". Chief football writer? His laughable work resembles something which would fail standard grade English.

Yeah and we don't sit all the players down in a row like a firing squad and ask them to confirm neilsons man management skills. There have been 2 or 3 interviews with players since Neilson left and all confirmed his man management was great. That's all we can go on.
