Apparently he had a stormer when he came on for Bournemouth yesterday. Good to see a young Scottish player do well on a big stage, what's his career been like so far? I don't remember him at Aberdeen.

Wouldnt shut up about him on MOTD. Still, I would suspect Strachan was too busy watching players warm the bench in the championship.

I remember him being highly rated at Aberdeen and then a fuss being made on here when he signed for a League 1 Bournemouth team who were 'going nowhere'.

There appears to be a number of young talented Scottish players at the moment. Not sure how good he is but Jay Fulton is starting for Swansea I assume it's Baggio lad, Oliver Burke,Robertson, Patterson and Souttar can progress perhaps a new manager can integrate them into the Scotland team and actually give us some hope of a decent national side in a couple of years!?

The question is who will take charge of these talented young players for the national team - sir alec please, bury the hatchet with the sfa and do it for the future of this great young group. Or maybe Kenny dalglish would fancy it. Someone to inspire the young group.

If only it could be, those giants are happily golfing away in their retirement. We'll probably get the Iceland guy or whoever and he'll flop under the pressure. One thing we can be sure of is, with a guy like reagan at the helm, the appointment will not be the right one. Maybe they'll go for super ally. Most likely McLeish.

Ryan Fraser changed the game completely an excellent performance.

Matt Phillips has played a huge part in WBA's recent success in the league with some superb performances.

I watched Spurs v Swansea and Jay Fulton didn't play very well, that said everyone Swansea player had a mare. Having Bob Bradley as coach isn't exactly a great help, completely clueless at this level.

I had written Bournemouth off at halftime. 2nd half they were tremendous(liverpool poor under pressure). Fraser instrumental in the victory.

I've noticed that there are quite a few Scottish players getting their game in the EPL.  Many of them weren't even in the latest Scotland squad such as Adam, Boyd, Bardsley and Phillips. I'm sure there's more.

Strachan.

He's under 6 foot so won't be in contention anyway.

Forest, Anya, Griffiths, Bannan, Ritchie, Maloney etc.

As much as I loathe Strachan that isn't really true, our squads 'small' generally to be honest.

The one thing that seems obvious from the Euros is a solid defence is the starting point then find a creative midfielder and a striker and in a knock out tournament you have a chance. We seem to have some exciting forward/midfield talent but we have to sort that central defence out. Grant Hanley isn't good enough for East Fife never mind Scotland. Martin is about 38 and it's showing. Berra is at least playing. Beyond that there's nothing.

Our Scotland cbs are so scheise I'd promote souttar right now. To be honest he's a baller-he showed a moment of brilliant skill at the 18yard box against gers the other night. Berra couldn't do that turnover in a billion years he'd fall over the ball trying.

C'mon. He does give Hibs' McGinn his game.

It's nothing short of a disgrace. It's alright though. We got Brown back for one game. That was a major coup.

Picking up from story in The Times today Fraser actually made his debut aged 16 against Hearts 16th October 2010 coming on as late sub in 1-0 defeat (Kevin Kyle scored).

Mark McGhee was manager and Paul Hartley and Andrius Velicka played for Aberdeen.

The problem is, Strachan has used height as an excuse not to pick players.
