Probably still up from when Bruno was at the club as I can't think of many Italians after him.

Salvatori was still at the club in 98/99.

What happens to the piling steel tubes that sit above ground level? Are they part of the steel framework that's about to be built up?

They will be cut down to sit below ground level. The pile cages as shown in post #6530 will then be placed on top and filled with concrete.

They will be trimmed to suit when the time arises

Each pile sits at a different depth as they stop when it hits rock underneath the surface hence why you see all different lenght sticking out the ground.

It's shame the building work isn't covered a bit better, say webcam streaming it would have been good. I hope someone has had the foresight to set up time lapse photography.

They have, there's a time lapse camera on the high school. They released footage of the truss lift from it:

Yes essentially the same shirt - except the Olympic logo was very different in 98/99 and the SFL sleeve badges were updated to SPL ones.

Great point BUT, I really think Hearts need to aspire to have a stadium that is much better than the one Bournemouth have, all credit to the south coast resort, they have done a good job with what they have and perhaps there are a few little things that Hearts could copy BUT there is no comparison between the 2 stadiums ie Tynecastle PARK is several leagues higher!

Been once and Bournemouth has a cracking menu in there concourse area. Something we really need to step up a mark on

The Sir Tom Finney Stand at Preston and Jarrold Stand at Norwich are the closest single tiered stands I have found in Britain of similar size to ours.

The Preston one is 7800 and Norwich 8200 so about 500 and 1000 in it respectively. It should look noticeably bigger than the Wheatfield.
