hampdenhero
Im Looking for a resteraunt recommendation for my mums 60th birthday. Its got to be within walking distance of george street due to grandparents mobility. We always seem to end up at amarone but I'm sick of the place neither a great fan of it. jamboron
You could try The Royal Overseas League , next to Boots on Princes St. I`ve booked there for next Sunday for my wifes 60th , they can do a 3 course meal for about ?16 p.h. and will do a menu to suit others including vegetarians . Dazo
Depends on her tastes but Howies on Waterloo place or Fishers on thistle street both do great food at reasonable prices.
LSD Eindhoven
Depends on her tastes but Howies on Waterloo place or Fishers on thistle street both do great food at reasonable prices. Another +1 for Howies on Waterloo Place. My folks had a wee bash for their golden wedding anniversary there last month. 3 courses for around ?16, private room if given enough notice and BYOB (although ?3.50 corkage). Food was decent enough (scottish - soup, haggis, beef stew, chicken) and ideal for oldies who prefer traditional sort of dishes.
