Stephane Grappelli
A lot of people tipping the perfect partnership of Glenn Hoddle and Graham Rix to lead the Three Lions into a new, glorious era of glorious glory. 1971fozzy
What an arse they've made of it all. They were scraping the jar with Sam so fek knows who they'll go for now. When Rio Ferdinand threw his hat in the ring before everyone laughed. It wouldnae surprise me if he ended up Southgates no2 . England are a bit like Sevco and the Hobos - pure entertainment

Jambo dans les Pyrenees
The telegraph journalist, on after, said he turned it down before allardyce got offered it. One of the reasons I think was that he wanted to see his contract out at Arsenal which runs to Jun 2017. I think he knows he has run his race there; in fact if they don't do well this season there will be a lot of unrest before next summer comes around. If England are looking like qualifying at that stage, he might take the job for a year or two - taking England to the World Cup and possibly Euro 2020 afterwards would be a big draw for him. Stephane Grappelli
Billy Davies also worth considering. JamboAl
One thing fairly certain is that the next manager is unlikely to be English. Howe is probably too young/inexperienced to want or be offered the job. That apart there are no decent English managers.
Mikey1874
Wenger might take job part time for this season. Next games after Southgate 4 matches are March. Arsenal should be out of Champions League and league contention by then anyway.
Sooperstar
The media will decide. Worked so well with Allardyce. Was completely bizarre the way they all started backing him for the job. If they don't see this as an opportunity to go with a new approach, someone completely fresh and with ideas and time to build their game from the grassroots then they are screwed forever. Eddie Howell would be a good shout. Gareth Southgate would be hilarious!
Stephane Grappelli
Sam Allardyce is surely worth a shout. He's available, did a great job keeping Sunderland up and knows English football inside out.

DH1986
It'll be Wenger imo....his Arsenal contracts ends in May. Southgate has the job for 4 games and there are only 5 competitive International fixtures left this season.....pretty much sets it up perfectly for Wenger to walk out of Arsenal and into the England job.
