Oh dear indeed. Be interested to see what comes of this.

The next England manager?

Exactly the sort of stuff that ensured the FA stayed well clear of him previously. Could become a complete embarrassment for them. Good stuff.

I wonder why they waited until after he was appointed to drop the bomb?

The English media actually appear to hate the England football team.

On the Duke of Cambridge failing to appear at the launch of the Euro 2020 football tournament:

?The only one that never turned up was Prince William. He?s our ambassador for the Football Association, so it would have been nice if he?d have turned up but he obviously had more, much busier things on.?

On Prince Harry:

?Harry?s a naughty boy. He?s a very naughty boy, very naughty. He shows his bottom and all sorts.?

What's Harry Rednap up to these days. He'd be a nice safe option with no skeletons in his closet.

That's not a skeleton it's a British Bulldog (with an offshore account in Monaco).

First, Brexit.

Now this.

England is a cesspit of intellectually deformed human beings and if you think about it, it's all Thatcher's fault.

Maybe he's realised he's taken on a job that's impossible and he'd rather ruin any reputation he's got than see out his contract [emoji848]

Ok the likely story is he was a triple agent out to turn the tables on those who'd ruin the good name of the FA!

Joking aside, he deserves to be sacked for this. F**kin' parasite. More revelations to come too...

The Telegraph began investigating corruption in English football last year after receiving information that specific managers, officials and agents were taking or receiving cash payments to secure player transfers. Over the coming days the Telegraph will detail how:

  • The assistant manager of a high-profile football club accepted a ?5,000 cash ?bung?
  • Ten managers were named by players? agents as taking bribes to fix player transfers
  • Two well-known managers discussed becoming ambassadors for the same fictitious firm as Sam Allardyce
  • Another high-profile manager admitted his players broke FA rules by betting on their own games but he failed to report it
  • A senior figure at a Premier League club helped undercover reporters to formulate a plan to bribe managers

Mental that the 2 English managers most lauded by the English media have both been caught out by them!

The English media seem to actually despise the England football team. It's great.

Most English people I know would be delighted if this means he gets the sack. Big Sam!

Don't think so. They wont want to have to go through the process of finding another Manager so will be preparing all the excuses before they make a statement.

The Sassenach side of my family were not very chuffed when he got the gig. They'd love to get shot of him.

Steve Bruce was the only other manager interviewed I think. And he is still available!

They shouldn't even give him dignity of quitting himself, but seriously how greedy are these seedy creatures in charge of football no matter how much money the rape from football its never enough.

Although his gary Neville comment should knock a wee bit of the shame from his name.

If they've got him, which it looks like they have, he's gone. Either by walking or being sacked but no danger the FA will keep him on.

Right, the whole of English football is corrupt. Sponsors will be walking. It's not far from there to Scotland. Regan and Doncaster should be all over this. Easy sell. Oh wait

The FA just need to get in touch with the SFA &SPFL to get some coaching on how to successfully navigate allegations of corruption, cheating, collusion, financial skulduggery etc and getting the media and pundits on side. Alternatively they might just borrow the SFA's Hampden sized rug, sweep sweep.
