Clapping their goal Clapping their subs Clapping the guy sconed in the face Budges statement Tynecastle should be a fortress. Opposing players should be booed off of the pitch, sworn at constantly and hassled to no end. They should be scared. They should be scared of the noise, and of getting the ball for a throw in, or going for a corner. We should be in their faces making sure they know they're at Tynecastle. We shouldn't be ****ing Clapping them Budge and the fans need to get a grip. At least we booed their huddle, but it was far too half hearted for my liking. Disgraceful. The thing is there's so many rules in place now people are probably worried a fellow fan will snitch on them if they, god forbid, shouted any form of derogatory remark to an opposing player. Our fans get it tighter for Dundee Utd fans fighting each other than H1b5 having a war on a pitch at a national cup final! It is a recent occurrence, as in the last 5 years. And Budge has done more than anybody else to dilute our support. Every big game gets a wee club statement about how we have to be well behaved. It's a joke. Telling folk off for shouting abuse at Mixu ffs, he's a hibee and deserves every single piece of abuse that comes his way, as does any hibs rat. She has many good points of course, but this is one of her flaws. She's a great business woman, but she doesn't get the footballing side of things, and she sure as hell doesn't understand rivalry. Totally embarrassing I don't know another teams support that would act the same. The fact that Tynecastle is a safe, friendly environment played a big part in that. That's not to say that the atmosphere should be sterile but I'd rather we had a capacity crowd of sensible, sporting human beings than a seething cauldron of hate of 8k. If we did that against Aberdeen or Celtic etc, then I'd be seething. I'm sure we've done that in the past against European opposition who brought with them no support. It was aimed at our own players but I am sure that once the season starts they will aim it at Liam Craig, Scott Brown and other panto villains. The early statements were all fair and good trying to eliminate the more unsavoury element of the support, but it's almost like the club want no atmosphere at all. I don't understand clapping a team who are giving us the run around when they score, strange behaviour. One extreme example of where it got out of hand Again, Tynecastle used to be intimidating for away teams without getting out of hand.
