mr fox
Difference between us and Celtic is a serious lack of mobility you watch when they attack it's with pace and numbers We are so slow and predictable at times Miles behind Celtic I am afraid
hearts00
Agreed. Levein is building a team like last time that is physically very strong but severely lacking in pace. Does not matter what league you watch now but speed is key. Walker has average pace, Nicholson a little quicker but not much. Djoum is a great player but not what you would describe as pacy. Juanma is just downright slow for any decent level of football.
Texia
Actually thought Juanma has been looking more mobile the past few weeks and if we could get in some powerful direct wingers to play wide with walker in behind him, similar to what Aberdeen have with McGinn and Hayes with Rooney/Church in the upfront, and a combination of Djoum and Kitchen behind them we could have a very good looking team next season. Especially if we could keep Paterson, bring in a new left back and perfect the Ozturk/Souttar partnership.
Half time pie
Juanma runs like wounded giraffe. He's a solid lad and can intimidate defence physically but is certainly not an agile, pacey runner which is what we need more of.

They were quicker to everything and even quicker at anticipating: Griffiths just ran and took the ball when we were fannying around after a throw in at one point. Didn't think they were much better than us in the 2-2 game but on Saturday they looked way better drilled.
