Championship over.

Championship finished today with Barcelona, sorry, Rangers with the man who reinvented football in charge finish the season 10points worse off and with -16 goal difference worse off than we did last season in a more competitive league.

Maybe the Robbie haters should think about that. This season hasn't been perfect but to me it has been a success. There have been highs and lows and I am not saying Robbie is exempt from criticism but I think we are going in right direction and he should be given a bit more slack. Can't wait for next season.

On here whenever anyone says Robbie isn't exempt from criticism they go on to state precisely that.

It does go to show just how good we were last year, that points record will stand for years. Also it's easy to forget Robbie had one summer to build that team.

How is a team's performances this season, in a league below ours, relevant to our performances this season?

We have done well, but could have done a whole lot better. Rangers have been a total irrelevance to us this season.

If there is a team who profess that they're going to beat the HEARTS record of points and goals scored, as Blue Cheek did earlier, and they FAIL miserably, it is entirely relevant to highlight that fact.

Robbie was criticised for losing to Rangers and Hibs after league was won.

Rangers have lost to Hibs and Livingston and drawn with Alloa and St Mirren after knocking Celtic out of Cup.

Robbie was criticised for them losses because really we always went into big games and still do Holding back and that was 2 games we should have went for it from min 1 and we didn't. Not much has changed in big games.

Taking nothing away from Hearts side last year but really we were the only premiership side in that league ( we still took down some very good SPL players who had came down winning games with ease in SPL)

Rangers were a mess and Hibs were just Hibs who really were a Championship side in disguise as an SPL side for a couple of seasons.

That's credit to Robbie and Craig for putting together a title winning team against two teams with much bigger budgets than us.

The point i was making was Robbie gets more stick than most and has a better record than Warburton who gets plaudits from everywhere.

I said there has been highs and lows this season but when you read the amount of stick he gets on here then i was trying to put things into perspective

I was making the point that Warburton gets lots of credit whilst winning a league that Neilson won far more easily and now Robbie gets far more stick than he deserves.

Do you think Rangers fans will be happy with Warburton if Rangers only manage a 3rd place finish next season?

Neilson got the praise he deserved after last season. This season he has took stick because regardless finishing 3rd the performances from the team have often been inconsistent, his constant tinkering with the team has also frustrated many.

Do you think the Rangers fans will give him the level of stick Neilson has received??? Hiring planes etc??

Plus the Rangers fans will come up with a level of expectancy that the old firm always have.

Robbie has been a manager for 2 seasons and has won the championship and finished 3rd in the premiership.

I was as unhappy as anyone else when we lost to hibs and some of the performances haven't been great this season but we are a work in progress.

I said at the start that Robbie isn't exempt from criticism but people calling for his head are taking it too far.

I don't think any manager would've done much better.

There will be more pressure on him next season and rightly so because he will no longer be looked at as a rookie manager but right now I am amazed that people are wanting him sacked.

Some of the people on here need a reality check, 3 season ago we were nearly finished!

We had no money to speak of, with very limited resources using youngsters in a Top League!

With fans pulling together to save the Club from extinction!

We then with Queen Budge, get a backroom team together and go from strength to strength on the playing field.

Now we are back where we want to be, and some on here are not happy that we never won the League at first time of asking ( 3rd is not good enough?)

Sometimes you just have to just wake up and smell the coffee????

I think that is a fair summary of the facts.

A bit of patience from the fans wouldn't go amiss either.

At the moment we have a level of stability at the club. We have an owner who runs a tight ship and has appointed an experienced DOF to help out with the football side. The DOF has in turn hired a young head coach backed up by other ambitious coaching staff. All this has been set in place to give continuity on the footballing side . Now some performances have been disappointing but it would be utterly pointless taking Robbie out of the picture because unless people are suggesting that the whole set up is scrapped and we start again Robbie would only be replaced by someone else working to the same script.

So what do people want ?

Back to a regular turnover of managers ?

Continually throwing the dice hoping we find the new Ferguson/Stein/McLean ?

Anyone notice the common theme with these examples ?

They were given Time.

Its also easy to remember that is was over a year ago in a different league with a different team though, and therefore almost totally irrelevant.

Ah, I see your mistake there then. The rules are you have to accept 3rd as best and never, ever criticise Robbie. That's the rules.

Don't worry. Robbie will be gone by October.

To Ibrox when Warburton gets sacked for not being eight points clear of Celtic.

FFS  Who do you want as Hearts manager ? Please don't say Mark McGhee or Paul Hartley I might hurt myself when I fall of my chair laughing.

Never once did i say never criticise Robbie and i never said settle for 3rd as best.

I was pointing out the fact that Robbie won the championship with more points and goals than Warburton who is being hailed as some sort of footballing god in the media and we have a fair number of fans who want Robbie sacked after another season of progress.

Has the football always been great?? No!

Has Neilson made mistakes?? Yes!

Are we the finished article?? Not by a long shot.

next season will be a big season lets wait n see what happens.

I believe we are in the best hands. I don't expect everyone to agree with me but i just think some folk need a reality check.

These are the ones, that if Robbie did win the League they would still find fault in?

How it was won!

Never won a Cup!

Never scored enough goals!

Sorry to say, on here they want everything the way they want it, and they want it yesterday.

Neilson's tactics and style of play may be questionable at times, but for supporters on here it is a criminal offense!!!!

I'm sure Craig Lievein will have said something to him about some mistakes he has made but it is a knee jerk reaction to try and sack a manager with 2 years experience in a growing Club for his learning curve?

Your just talking absolute drivel now - if Robbie won us the league the criticism would be NIL and you know it.

And again I ask you who exactly are the "they" you refer to?   I get the feeling that you rope in anybody Hearts fan who quite rightly has been questioning Neilson for his tactics and team set up.

Once the league was won there would be none.  However, if by some chance we win the league next year, I 100% guarantee that there will have been multiple threads calling Robbie an arse and calling for his head during the season.
