Abiola Dauda........how will we remember him.

Two goals in one game back in February and not much more. Perhaps our style of play didn't suit him, but I thought he would have made more of an impact and started more games for us. Will be interesting to see how his career developes.

There was a thread recently about Romanov-era players.

I'd forgotten a few of them.

Ask me again about Dauda in 6 years.

He kind of makes me think of Robbies recent word on Juanma.

Started really well, fell away, then came onto a game.

I'm sure the plan was Duada would have a good start, then tail off, and then may or may not rise again just beofrr he leaves. Zeefuik did similar, with a run of poorer games in the third quarter of his time with us.

Sadly though, Duada never got started and couldn't get into the football here. Not sure if it's lack of skill or just the wrong type of game.

2 goals up at Ross County, thats it

He was always going to be up against it trying to fill the shoes of Sow. Perhaps with a pre-season under his belt to help him adjust he could have been a decent signing, but overall a disappointment

Would have liked to have seen more of him playing as part of a two and with less long bangers played into him. Sadly didn't live up to the hype.

As another striker who came in with good pedigree and the expectation of goals that showed promise in the beginning but failed to deliver in the long run.

It's been roughly the same thing for 10 years now. Even when we got a goalscorer in like Kyle and Beattie they weren't good for a full season.

It's been a curse of ours for a while now. Scottish football is a rough game played at quite a frantic pace. It doesn't suit many strikers from other countries who have never in their careers had to deal with such tight spaces and quick play. It's like playing 11s on a 7 a side pitch at times.

To get a goalscorer for this league takes a lot of luck to find one in a blue moon, cash is hit and miss as celtic often show or you have to have one brought up in the environment from day one and we haven't successfully produced one of those in a very long time now.

Stupid Sexy Flanders

I'll remember him stupidly and unnecessarily getting caught offside & costing him/us an equaliser at Easter Road.

His performance at Easter road will live long in the memory as probably thee most ineffectual I seen from a hearts forward and I've seen a few shockers. Hibs stopped marking him he was that little of a threat.

Hard to tell. The contrast between him and Souttar convinces me we should spend time, energy and money on that kind of signing over these six month loans though.

He's not interested, clearly doesn't want to be here.

Wage thief.

hate that phrase wage thief, it's the judgement of the person or persons ? who brought him here that should be up for question as he didn't buy himself

He's been absolutely gash in all honesty. Couple of nice finishes at County and he played a couple of nice passes with the outside of his boot at one game at Tynie. He can't get any more game time this season.

Pointless giving him a single minute in the remaining games.

Signing him around the same time as selling Sow is depressingly reminiscent of when we lost Bednar and got Nade instead.

Sitting trying to remember the name of the guy we had on loan from West Ham and I genuinely can't recall his name , I expect Dauda will be the same tbh

A gamble that didn't work out

Now seems a hurried, token gesture of a loan signing.

As well as players with talent to develop, we need the character and passion for the game to go with it.  I want players who love playing, love winning and in time that passion develops in commitment to the club.

Players first and foremost must have self respect and passion to do well for themselves.  Dauda comes nowhere close to that criteria.

Another player watched and scouted by dvd. Utter pish. Hopefully our scouting system will improve going forward and bring in tried and tested players

I will remember him not squaring the ball to Sam in the last minute away to Utd. Could have won if he had. Instead Utd went straight up park and scored.

Sad thing if we DON'T give him game time it could jeopardize us bringing other loan players into the club.
