Depends how good he is, I'd guess we're probably aware of him. This summer will be the usual media reporting that Rangers are after everyone to unsettle them so they can make an easy bid.

 

For us I hope we either go the way of signing some more souttars with good potential for a reasonably cheap price and bring in more unknowns or go the Aberdeen way with the way they've signed players like Shinnie, we could maybe sign Tansey from Inverness can see us being a bigger draw than Aberdeen.

Lads a goal machine similar, dare i say it, to Vardy. There was rumours in January that we were interested hope there is something in it.

In: A left back, centerback, central midfielder, a left sided midfield player (left footed) and two strikers.

 

Although Juwon played well at Parkhead we still need a natural left back to provide competition. Perhaps after a year settling in Oshaniwa might turn out ok, still need another though.

 

I reckon McGhee and Augustyn will leave so we will need some cover in that position, although Perry Kitchen can cover there so not crucial as we will still have Ozturk, Souttar and Rossi.

 

We need another midfield player, possibly an attacking player but I suppose Djoum, Cowie and Prince are all box to box players so maybe not another in that mould, more of a playmaker type maybe or a a purely attack minded midfielder.

 

Definately need a left winger, a left footed one because we lack the balance of a left sided player. Nicholson can play there, as can Walker but I think Nicholsons more comfortable on the right and Walker is far more dangerous as a second striker im a free role. Someone like Driver at his best or even Skacel first time round is what we need.

 

It's no secret we need strikers. To be honest though if Juanma plays as he did against Celtic and Aberdeen then I'd still consider him as first choice with Walker supporting. Definately need a goalscorer though, 20+ a season striker is a must.

I'm assuming it will be the usual mix of a highly thought of Scottish youngster, a proven SPFL player or two and a couple of surprise foreigners.

Quite obvious we need to try and settle Left Back. Rossi is solid there and more than able but he's a centre half really.

 

Our squad additions of course depend on who could be sold too.

 

Another centre midfielder in the Djoum mould and two forwards. Hard to tell where else we'll need to add until we know who's staying and going.

 

I'd imagine this could be the year Walker and Paterson are subject to bids. (Hope not though).

I can't recall seeing Mallan play, but they rave about him on the radio most weeks. Then again, the media all raved about Craig Nelson years ago and he was just terrible.

That's exactly the type of player we're looking for, someone who can drive the team forward and weigh in with a few goals too, unfortunately they are thin on the ground and everybody else is looking for them as well.

Out Augustyn and Pallardo not to be extended. Dauda away. Don't think El Hass and Oshaniwa are going to cut it so if possible cut losses. Gomis can prob go. Would give Billy King another shot if head and heart are in it.

There is still a lot of mediocrity at Tynecastle to move on, however Neilson suggested we are only bringing in about 5 and having a first team squad of around 18.

I would like him to have at least another season but we do still have Hamilton  who s the national U21 keeper. His, Hamiltons,  development needs to be planned or we will lose him.

Allan if possible, would be great to have a midfeild of Djoum, Kitchen and Allan, with Bauben and Cowie rotating.

 

Matty Taylor would be a good shout, don't think El Bakhtaoui is our type of player.

 

Alston form Falkirk, although he would cost money.

 

I think we could do with a couple of guys proven in Scotland, hopefully supplemented with finds like Djoum.

 

 

Pallardo, Blaz, El Hass, Dauda should all be moved on if possible.

 

Paterson might be off.

 

Hope we can keep on to Walker.

Fair enough. While I think we have more pressing priorities, I do think we could benefit from an upgrade at GK too. Alexander is a bit slow at getting down at times and he makes a few mistakes. Celtic's 3rd and Aberdeen's goal are instances I'd expect a keeper to make saves.

No. But if out of contract then would perhaps be a good signing. No idea if he is or not. And as I've said earlier, I can't recall seeing him play so no idea what he is like as a player.
