N Lincs Jambo
Not an exact answer to the question but seeing as we're talking Europa League, saw Fenerbahce once in the CL away to Rapid Vienna. Now that WAS an away support.... 15,000 Turkish fans as Rapid sold 5,000 to local Turks, 5,000 to Turks in Germany and 5,000 to fans travelling from Turkey. Total crowd 48,000. Don't particularly like Rapid - they play in green and they are total glory hunters - took in a league game of theirs that same season against LASK Linz and the crowd was under 2,000. trago13
I've done PSG Dublin (tolka park I think?) Liverpool Spurs I got to a Hertha Berlin v Galataseray CL Match. I think the crowd was around 60k and at least 20k were Turks. The Germany's were very quite and seemed intimidated. Brilliant atmosphere, very tense. I also managed to get to an OKI Crete game in the inter toto cup when I was on honeymoon. Lovely ground down by the beach. Really small crowd of about 4K but still needed the fire service and police during the match.

All a bit different now I think, their stadium is only 20,000 I think now. Certainly would prefer Rapid to Austria Vienna due to the working class ethos. Got an Austrian mate who's a Rapid fan so he made that quite clear. Got another Austrian friend though who's local team is Sturm Graz so always had a soft spot for them. Rapid's ground the Hanappi does hold 20K but they switched the games to the Ernst Happel which is pretty much their national stadium for the CL. I'm the other way around when it comes to Austria v Rapid. Rapid are known as Vienna's "Nazi" team and Austria as the Jews. This info is 30 years old though as I lived there in the mid 80s for 2 years and certainly my mates who were local were all telling me what their songs were all about. Btw Austria Vienna's ground is in the district of Favoriten which is known locally as Red Favoriten because of the locals working class adherance either to the Socialist or Communist party, whereas Rapid's ground is in Hutteldorf which is significantly better off albeit not middle class. On a more serious note though, Austria's strip is nearly maroon and it's Tam Flogel's team

It's brilliant, you should get tickets no problem. Really quick and easy to get to with the train from Munich. The slopes are unreal, if you think Tynie is steep wait till you see them.
