Hope I'm not overstepping the mark here, I'm not advertising/selling as such and I will make no personal profit from this, but I'd like to know if there would be a market for a new season ticket holder similar to those which I organised and sold two years ago? The sales two years ago went unbelievably well and with the help of Prestonpans Hearts and Ruairidh Grieg, we raised well over ?1,000 (I bought two platinum ST's which were used as prizes on here) as well as "gifting" the Hearts shop stock of 1,000 wallets to sell. I've had PM's on here and a couple of mates on facebook asking, so I'm guessing there may be... If there is, I would be looking to go with one design, as splitting the design as I did last time, added considerable cost. For me, they would have this season's fixtures on the back and I'd be looking for a design for the front of the wallet. Perhaps an iconic picture of last season's champions, a famous quote or a memorable image of Tynecastle. I've always like this one - https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2760/4401110657_a7ba85f252_b.jpg - you get the idea...you could design a combination of all three. However, if the preference was not to have fixtures so they can last longer than one season (mine are still in great nick from two years ago) then for a little extra, I'd get fixture cards printed to go inside one half of the wallet. If you have a hi-res image I could use legally, I'd be delighted to hear from you and hopefully Ruairidh, if he's still around, can set up a template for me? I know Hearts shop still stock FoH wallets, and I'm not trying to take business away from them but with all due respect, they're not as good as the ones I sold!!! I've made a mock up (very low res) and in next 5 mins, will post my idea on Prestonpans Hearts FB page if you want to have a look. Having trouble finding a good quality hi-res image of the 1914 team so my mock up is using the old painting of Tynecastle and the fixtures. I think the two options like last time is good as I like the idea of fixtures is good as well as an alternative with just pictures. Most are available for a fee but if it's not financially viable then there is very little you can do. Even if the images are from Google you can still get caught with copyright infringement so I do my best to only use images from whoever took it. I am not that keen on that image to be honest. I do like the picture and used to have it in my house but would rather have a more current pic for a new season. I looked on google for images Ozturk v Hibs and there were some cracking photos there. I don't know about image rights but there was an iconic pic of Rudi last time so I guess it's not impossible. A very good idea and it might stop me turning up at Tynie with a Costa Coffee card (as I once did) instead of my season ticket. I am sure many will be sold. Good luck. FTR I have permission from Chalky (from 2013 which I will double check still stands before production) to use the Big Hearts logo, the fixtures are no longer copyrighted, according to a finding a few years back and I've contacted the Scottish Arthouse Gallery to try and locate Julie Ramsay to ask her permission to use the picture.
