?I wish I could play Hibs every week,?

Those are the words of Christian Nade today :). http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl-lower-divisions/raith-rovers-2-1-hibernian-hibs-lead-evaporates-1-3732006

How Hibs must be hoping Raith don't get 4th spot in the league...that's them made up 6 points in the past week on Hibs & QoS, and 3 nearer to Falkirk.

Hibs v Raith...who would you put money on?

?I think Hearts fans love me more now than when I played there. I just love to annoy Hibs and if I could do it every weekend, I would.?

Christian Nade, all is certainly forgiven, you have proved you're a PHM :)

I thought last week was just an off day when they came up against a bit of McCall inspired defiance. But they've gone. They have utterly gone !!!!

I see Mr Stubbs thinks his team played the best football. Maybe they did. But you'll find that in football it's all about balls in the back of the net. Which we've done 86 times so far with plenty more to come. And they haven't even got 60. So all this pish about "pure football" is just that. Pish. Because you need an end result which we seem to have achieved 7 (that's SEVEN) weeks before the end of the season. Has he congratulated us yet?

You've got to hand it to Edinbugh and its Environmental Policies. The Bottle Bank down in Leith must be one of the World's largest.

on the flip side Raith Rovers seem to possibly be taping their bottle back together, If Falkirk dont win during the week against CowTENbeath, Then Rovers visit Falkirk and if Raith won that match and Hibs dont just nearly win against QOS and actually win and not get one of these good defeats that Stubbs accepts. Then it will be really close with QOS on 47, Falkirk on 46 and Raith on 45, that wee battle looks pretty tasty especially the QOS and Falkirk clash in 2 weeks.

Great conversation on the train to Stirling last night.  Both going home after a great day out, I met and congratulated a Raith Rovers fan (all decked out in his colours too!) on a great result.

The best bit was how he described it:

"Hibs should have romped us today but we done them good in the end. And you know what,  Gerrit right up ye Stubbsy".

For good measure, Nade came on and set up the winner!!

I think that Raith Rovers are hoping Hibs are still around next season.  Good on them!

Big test now for y'know. I'd be happy to see both them and sevco remain in this league next year along side St Mirren.

Hibs could languish in the Championship for years to come.

Just a thought (and might be a stupid one at that) but it might be fun at Easter Road to take lots of (green!) inflatable champagne bottles, and then at a particular point burst them - it will illustrate the point quite clearly!

Yep for lots of Scottish supporters wanting a more competitive league we know have to rely on hibs keeping sevco down and as usual they are bottling it would be funny both staying down now Ross county staying up would suffice :) think Motherwell will be ok

Hibs are absolutely incredible - and I don't mean that in a complimentary way. Every year they seem to build up the hopes of their fans one way or another and then, lo and behold, they completely and utterly self-destruct in spectacular fashion. That kind of annual implosion combined with the regular humpings by Hearts, not least 19/05/12, has clearly caused sever psychological damage. Pleasing.

"The stats won't lie today but maybe the result did." Oh Stubbsy! That is some pile of delusional pesh that you have spouted...again!

From the BBC website

"It's a really tough one to be honest," he told BBC Scotland.

"It's one of those where I think everybody will look back and scratch their head and wonder how have we lost the game. But, that's football, it can be a cruel game at times."

Stubbs refused to criticise his side, who remain in second place on goal difference.

"We've created a lot of opportunities but we've not taken them and when you don't do that there's the potential for results like this to happen," he added.

"There's no panic stations. That's the best we've played for a number of weeks.

"You can't criticise the players for the way they've played, the most disappointing thing is the result.

"I can't fault their effort, the way they played, chances created. The stats won't lie today but maybe the result did."

Rangers, who were winners at Easter Road last Sunday have a game in hand over Hibs but Stubbs refutes any suggestion his team are feeling the heat.

"It's a nice pressure as it means we're challenging for something," he said.

"I'd rather have the pressure of trying to achieve something at the top than at the bottom. I'll take that all day long."

WTF ?

The pressure comes from failure - Hibs aren't challenging for anything right now. They are not challenging "at the top" this season and never have been.

This is typical single fish stuff that fish eyes comes out with after another defeat and the unwashed lap it up.
