How was the John Colquhoun interview?

JC was brilliant as was Scott Wilson, Robbo, Jimmy Sandison and Henry Smith a great night and well worth a tenner, there was a Q & A guy next to us asked a question and nobody could understand him and Scott Wilson quipped for ****s sake BBC Alba has finished. Chicken curry was superb great night and atmosphere.

I think it was actually Robbo  who made that comment.  The guy you mention was wearing a grey and green hooped shirt?  I was sitting just a couple of tables away.  Place was in stitches.

Thouroughly good night, has to be said.  Thought JC was really interesting in some of the stuff he had to say.  Never knew, for example, that when Hearts went to Celtic at the time we ended up with JC, we were actually interested in signing Davey Provan.

Will definitely go back, and know now to stay away from the Caley 80.  Should have clocked that everyone else was drinking Fosters.

I couldn't believe what JC said about the training routine under doddy and sandy played on a Saturday and didn't kick a ball again until the Thursday sure he mentioned a few bevvies and the casino also stated that we were the fittest team in Europe although I think that was tongue in cheek

Exactly.  Should tell you how bad the Caley 80 was!  Fortunately they had Deuchars in bottles.

I did wonder if the fittest team in Europe remark was a reference to Stubbs's claims.  Also liked what he had to say about Derbies, making the point that even in games when Hibs were totally out-playing us, the team knew they would still win.

I am coming over to Scotland on statutory leave in March and I hope there will be a couple of Gorgie live occasions either side of the Dumbarton game, if I can't can't get away tickets. The old man would love it also

Excellent evening and well worth the tenner a ticket. Scott Wilson keeps the evening flowing and is a genuinely funny guy

My favourite was "if Robbo had the ball running for goal , I just started heading back to the half way line... We knew it would be a goal"

Great night all round

Really good night, nice of Hibs to contribute by conceding the late equaliser at the start of the evening.

Could have listened to JC and JR for hours.

Really is worth a tenner, Gaelic commentary or not.

It was also said we done similar when looking for a CH we were supposedlyy trying for Willie Garner, but ended up signing Roddy MacDonald .

Would loved to have been there. Sounds like a great evening. JC & JR. 2 of my heros when I was younger! Wonder if someone can post the Q&A session or is there a link on Hearts TV for us International supporters?

He spoke a bit about his dad and growing up being a Celtic fan. Signing for Celtic was a dream come true, but moving to Hearts was the best decision he ever made. He was quite nostalgic about the fans at Tynecastle and about the amount that used to pack in when it was standing. He mentioned in particular the 3-2 cup win over Rangers in '86 when Tynecastle was crammed probably way above the reported number.

There was something about not being able to relate to the younger players these days, with social media being the thing that's changed things. Scott Wilson finished by asking him about his musical taste (I got the impression that JC may have listened to completely different stuff from his team mates), to which he responded The National and First Aid Kit.

This, together with the other contributions above, probably just about covers it.

Agree with everyone that it was a brilliant night once again.

To add to what JC said he also stated (unsurpisingly) that Davie Hay was a toss pot who he gladly told to stick his offer of being JC's agent where the sun don't shine :)
