DETTY29 Posted September 30, 2014 Share Posted September 30, 2014 Don't think the season can be extended due to play-off dates etc. The more sevco and their past it players have a fixture pile up the better. They still have the LC and the Petrofac to fit in as well as this league now. Was tongue in cheek, but they are still bitter that the 2007 / 2008 season wasn't extended to give them time to fully recover from the Europa League exploits for their league and Scottish Cup challenges. Certainly the Dundee United league game should have been postponed 4 days before the Europa League final, but they should prioritised the competitions they were going for. It's such a shame Ally is under so much pressure to win part time leagues at a canter and non entity cups that he has to put a highly paid under achieving team playing archiac hoof ball to do so. And even tournaments they dont realistically have a chance of winning, he is still under the same pressure to do so. Ps - Im old enough to remember Liverpool winning trebles including European Cups and playing 4 games in 8 days regularly in late 70s and 80s and just getting on with it.
