What do you think the team will be? (Not what you would like it to be)

Alexander

McGee-Wilson-Ozturk-Eckersley

King-Pallardo-Gomis-Walker

Keatings-Sow

Is Buaben still suspended?

If not he'll be straight back in I reckon

I would like to see us go back to a 4-2-3-1

Not convinced with the 2 up top strategy. We are far more balanced and break much faster with one man than two. A front attacking 3 of King, Nicholson and Carrick with Sow or Keatings leading on their own for me. Pallardo and Gomis as anchors.

I would have agreed with you at the start of the season but thought we were at our fastest breaking against Falkirk..........getting that first goal is important. I don't think Sam will be risked.

I wouldn't risk any of the four injured parties.

Alexander

McKay, Ozturk, Wilson, Eckersley

King, Holt, Gomis, Walker

Keatings, Sow

Don't be surprised if one of Holt, Keatings or Sow are dropped for Pallardo.

I'd play Pallardo.

He might be a defensive midfielder - but a Spanish defensive midfielder with great technique will add something of an attacking dimension particularly at home. Gomis and Pallardo should allow us to control midfield which will allow our attacking four better opportunity for good service. I think Paterson will get on

Surely that line-up will be far too strong for Cowdenbeath.

Surely!

Not making any predictions as I am a total jinx but hoping for an exhilerating performance.

maybe give Sow the start and see how he does alone, then Keatings can come on.

Serious question as I was abroad and missed the game at the weekend.

We have Paterson out injured. I knew that.

At the game McGhee, McHattie and Nicholson were injured.

Most teams are resting/assuming injury to McHattie and Nicholson, whilst most select McGhee.

Has the club suggested McGhee is the fittest of the four? Is there some sort of ITK stuff floating about?

McGee appeared the least in trouble at the time. Robbie has said they are all in contention. I think Nicholson and Paterson will start and Ekersley will be in for McHattie

Cheers.

I'd read that they were in contention, but wondered why everybody was leaving out some and not McGhee.

They are bottom. We are top. Its at Tynecastle. Suggests a mauling. Better be!

In his interview on website Robbie said Sam will hopefully be back training on Monday so it looks as though he will not play tomorrow. They will see how McHattie is in the morning to see if he can play.

In that case, don't risk McHattie. Play Eckersley. It's a long season, no risks please.

Saw El Hassnaoui play for the U20s again on Monday and he's nowhere near replacing Keatings yet. I don't see the need to risk Nicholson or McHattie or indeed to drop McGhee or Holt, especially in this game.

Sow

Paterson and Pallardo can maybe get a taster when we're 3-0 up.

These threads work better when people pick crazy teams that it'll never be. Only Robbie Neilson knows what the team will be tomorrow

In ideal world we would all be picking the same team because we want a settled side on a good injury and suspension free run with Robbie able to pick the same players each week. Mixing it up a bit only when midweek games etc call for it.

With it seeming likely all 3 injury scares (Nicholson, McHattie & McGhee) all being in contention would see them fully fit so i would keep the side the same if all fit.

Alexander

McGhee, Ozturk, Wilson, McHattie

Nicholson, Gomis, Holt, King

Sow, Keatings

Obviously if 1,2 or all 3 are unfit the team would change, would imagine Eckersley would take either Full Back berth depending on injured player and Walker on for Nicholson.

Fortune favours the bold IMO. We have a good defence and a number of options in our squad. I hope Neilson uses them all this season

decent team although we will miss wee Sam and Buaben

Hope Holt and El Hass get a decent run in the second half

Chance for Walker and Robinson to prove they should be first choice picks

so they should be buzzing today
